Hampton Manor of Trenton is a beautiful facility. Even the most minor construction/design details were well thought out. But more importantly, it’s the people. From the housekeepers to maintenance to the chef to the front office; everyone is kind and caring. They speak and treat their residents with kindness and respect. They listen to resident input at monthly meetings. The activities are endless; there is something for everyone. Hands down the best the downriver area has to offer!
The facilty is Beautiful, the food is good & they have alot of activities. However,There are a number of short falls. The personal care is lacking. It is common to push your button for personal care & wait 3o to 45 minutes for someone to respond. I even had to call the facility a number of times to have someone to respond to her push button. Also, there has been an issue with the heating & air conditioning for the past 5 weeks. My sister has to try & maintain her comfort level by opening & closing the window & vents. Not very successful. While some of the staff is nice there are some that can't be bothered. My sister is on Hospice and i didn't expect the end of her life to be so challenging. Hoping that this review will do some good & make some positive changes.
Outstanding Community in overall USA, Specially in Trenton. I Highly recommended it to everyone.
