Hampton Manor is a beautiful facility, and appeared to provide a thoughtful and calming environment to residents. Lisa was fantastic to work with, and while touring, all employees encountered along the way appeared cheerful and professional (like they enjoyed working there). We were set to begin the admission process, but at the last minute a wait listed facility that was closer to home, had an opening. I would definitely consider Hampton Manor of Dundee again, should the need arise!

I can't say enough good things about Hampton Manor! The staff? Super cooperative, they've been like a second family to my granddad, always looking out for him. The memory care program is top-notch and shows that they genuinely care. And the food? Excellent! Fresh, flavorful, and high-quality. It's not just a care facility - it feels like home. The best decision we've ever made for our family!
The new team at Hampton Manor has been exceptional in the care of my parents. Mindy (Director), Nancy (Business Manager) and Lisa (Sales) are very organized and responsive and the care team is compassionate and competent. The community is very new and full of light. Lots of fun activities for residents and also for families. Highly recommend Hampton Manor!
It is true the facility is state of the art. Unfortunately, they are failing on many levels they boast about. A year and a half ago things were going well. Then, well qualified staff members quit suddenly with no explanation. One was a much respected nurse my mother trusted and depended on from the time she moved in. Upper management seems to be the main problem, but that is only speculation. Forget about trying to check in on your loved one. They rarely answer the phone because they are so short staffed. There is no way to leave a message if you need to. My mom is not a picky eater so if she says the food is far from chef quality, I believe her. New staff comes in and makes sweeping changes with no regard to the residents needs or wishes. I see now they boast they have Independent Living in Dundee, yet my mom has been paying Assisted Living prices for a year and a half and she has never taken advantage of any assistance. She is completely independent and has been since she moved into Hampton. Because the buildings are not filling up, I am guessing it is a marketing ploy and some folks are going to reap what my mother has paid for in excess. They can't take proper care of the residents they have now, how are they possibly going to take on more? Please think carefully where you move your loved one. What you see, is not always what you get, or in this case, what you pay for.
Having personal experience with this place it is NOT the place to put anyone you truly love. My Mom lived there for a year and half during that time I only had someone answer the phone once when I would call otherwise it rings without being answered. Besides having to wait to enter the building as all the doors are locked their isn't enough staff to adequately care for the residents nor do they last more than 2 weeks. Staff is changed so often you don't get to know anyone nor are they friendly if they are they'll be gone by the end of the week. For what you pay monthly Hampton does not live up to what you are paying for. Food is probably the worst either improperly cooked or unappetizing. 5 star reviews are from employees not residents. 3 people have moved this past week alone. Very beautiful building unfortunately upper management needs to improve services dramatically. Concept is good unfortunately it's all about the $$$$ as there is a Hampton near or coming soon to your neighborhood. 2 within 5 miles from my home opening soon and they can't staff the facilities already open. Putting your loved one in a facility you want the best for them, Hampton is not that place.
