My father was placed in Hallmark Nursing Home for approximately 4 weeks for therapy. We had a wonderful stay. Each and every Staff member, from the housekeeper to the Nursing Administration, was kind and caring in all aspects of care. I did not have one negative interaction with a Staff member. Wonderful experience. The facility could use some update's, like all communal facilities could, but don’t let that dissuade you. The staff were exceptional and attentive. The care my father received was above and beyond from the moment he stepped in. They took the time to truly listen. People were happy to be there and it showed! I could not be happier with the experience as a whole. Thank you for everything!
I was very worried about putting my mom in a nursing home but I had no choice and it just worked out that she ended up going to Hallmark from the hospital. After being there about a month and a half I don't have to worry. She has been clean, fed well and taken care of. She now has dementia and thinks she is still in her apartment but she knows she has all the help she needs, they just are there for her. She didn't leave her apartment for 3 years and said she was a private person and was alone most of the time. I have to work. Last week I asked her if she wanted to be alone and she said NO. She tells me how good everyone is to her all the time and I know if they weren't good to her I would know because even tho she can't really explain things I would know if she didn't like someone. Everyone is so caring and kind to her and me and I so appreciate all of them. Our family has a lot we are dealing with that has been ongoing but now I know mom is taken care of. Thank you so much.
My sister went to Hallmark Healthcare in Pekin for short term rehabilitation after she was in the hospital for 2 weeks. The staff at this facility was beyond amazing. When she came in, she could not walk by herself. She had taken a very bad fall and was in serious condition at BroMen in Bloomington. They started her rehab with their PT and OT department immediately. I was able to meet that group, and they genuinely care about their patients. The social worker who oversaw her care took my phone calls or called me back the same day.The Director was wonderful, she gave me her business card and said anytime I have a question or concern, feel free to call me directly on my cell, day or night. I was stunned. And relieved because I knew she was a hands on administrator. If you are looking for a place for your family or friend, I promise you this facility will take the best of care for them.
My Father in law just had a short stay. He received great care from Talia, Carol and Jules. They were very attentive to his needs and are overall great humans! Thanks for your care.
