I'm not one to post anything, but felt the need to review Greenfields of Geneva. Let me start off by saying this place is very warm and welcoming as soon as you walk through the doors. We are always greeted with a smile. The rooms are kept clean and are very warming. I can't express how grateful we are to all the staff, nurses, therapist's etc that took wonderful care of our mother Christine. The love, kindness, and patience from everyone was truly a blessing. The kitchen staff rocked!! My mom loved them all!! Thank you all for going above and beyond your job title. You are all truly amazing and wonderful at Greenfields of Geneva. I highly recommend Greenfields of Geneva. Bless you all, the Jankowski/O'Connor family.

As I have seen many others write in reviews I am going to start off by saying if I could give them no stars I would. I am amazed the place has a 4.5 rating. My mother and step father bought a unit a few years ago. It was great! They were wined and dined so to speak and given VIP treatment. But during the wonderful VIP treatment my parents were pushed and pushed to sign on the dotted line…you’re going to love it here and if your health should decline we are here for you. Well once they signed on the dotted line (and I’m sure some of you know what’s coming next) it changed. Things were not all sweetness and light and so the decision was made to move them out of there…well big mistake. Apparently the only way you are allowed to leave is in a coffin, and don’t expect to get the money from them in as timely a manner as they expect from you when you sign on the dotted line with them. My parents moved out in January and it has been pretty much crickets since then. They did get a call saying good news your unit has sold and you should get a check in April but we have no information on when the unit actually sold and as yet..you may have guessed…no check. It’s mid May and our phone calls to them have been “we will find out and call you back”. We did, after many calls to them, get a call back that said sorry for the mix up and this shouldn’t have happened, but my parents still have no idea if/when they will be receiving their money. Hence why I am VERY disappointed with this company and writing this review. I shouldn’t have bought into all the hype, I know, but when it comes to your loved ones you like to believe people when they say they will help them and be there for them if you can’t. I have to add that everyone I had dealings with was awesome in that they were extremely friendly and personable and they did their best to be just that so this review has nothing to do with the front end staff and it is totally directed at the administration and parent company Lifespace Communities. I genuinely hoped this place would be different and not be like a lot of the other elder care homes you hear about who are just in it for the big bucks (which by the way this place gets a lot of very big bucks for what they provide) but their actions have proven that incorrect. This facility is very beautiful on its face but not so much once you walk in the door. I do understand that some residents can be difficult to deal with but that doesn’t mean you should withhold payments to them just to make your numbers look good. I am sad for the resident/friends my parents left behind because who knows what trauma they and their families will have to endure.
Very bad facility the ADON Tammy didn’t give me a chance to explain what happened on the shift .she simply ran with what her staff told her .I’m an agency nurse worked yesterday night my shift went well no falls no complains from the residents provided care in a timely manner and she sent me text messages in the app that are very rude and uncalled for. Later on blocked me without hearing my side of the story just because the staff can reported … . Don’t go there if you’re black and don’t work there .. Tammy is very unprofessional.. and lacks leadership skills
Staff outsourced to an agency, i communicated with management before and during my shift for any issues i had, I went above and beyond to give quality care and was praised by staff and patients and asked to return, but the next morning I was given a low rating with no explanation which caused me to get docked from my pay. If any agency workers see this I wouldn't recommend. No wonder they have no full in house staff!
I dropped off some flowers to my mother-in-law for Valentine’s Day! The Greenfield staff is always super friendly! The dessert looked so amazing today that I took a photo! My mother-in-law has been living in the independent apartments at Greenfields now for almost 4 months. It is a wonderful community with wonderful staff and residence!
