As a volunteer for Community Hospice, I have the opportunity to visit many nursing homes in the Greene County and Albany County area; Greene Meadows is among the best! The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The guests seem happy and content. I would definitely recommend considering Greene Meadows if you are looking for rehabilitation or long-term care.

My mom stayed here temporarily after a fall, I visited her multiple times a week. The nursing team worked very well taking good care of my mom. The nurses helped build a positive environment. My mom absolutely loved the physical therapy department and looked forward to working on physical therapy every day. She spoke very highly of all her physical therapists. The staff was very welcoming to me during my visits, and always made it easy for me to spend quality time with my mom. I am very glad my mom had the Greene Meadows team to help her in her recovery.
I had not been there for years. But as soon as I entered, I was greeted by the front desk. They were very welcoming and friendly. I was eventually directed to the person I was there to visit. It was a very bustling and busy place! Everyone was working hard. The nurses station was very busy. They seemed to be very well staffed, which is a plus.. Because the person I was visiting was sitting in the hallway, I didn’t go into a room, howeverI did notice everything seemed clean and I observed people there cleaning the floor and emptying trash. So I’m guessing they are on top of things.
The nurses and staff are attentive and helpful. They’re upbeat when we visit. They are understaffed. You might get more employees if the pay was better. The kitchen doesn’t pay attention to food restrictions. They’re getting better though.
My Aunt is having a positive experience at Greene Meadows for inpatient physical therapy after a recent illness. The therapists are pushing her to her best potential without pushing her too far. The nursing staff,although very busy, are kind and attending her needs with respect. My Aunt says the meals need improvement and are unimpressive. Over all so far we are looking at a 4 star rating from what we are seeing.
