Our Mother went in for rehab 10/23, therapy was excellent. She stayed for 1 month on Medicare & 3 more months until her insurance ran out. Don't let parking lot & decor deceive you. ALL staff members were friendly, attentive & able to judge her moods. At 87yrs with dementia she gets confused easily. We made it a point to be there at some time on every shift & meals. Staff knew her likes & dislikes, which showed me that they were listening to her. Can't say enough good about the care she received. Thank you all. Evelyn Shifflett's family

I’m very happy w/Greene Acres memory care unit. The staff have been Great!!
I am a resident at this facility and I would recommend this facility to others needing Long Term Care or Rehabilitation. The staff is great!
My mother was placed in Greene Acres for respite care Dec. 17 - 23, 2023. Sh e liked her roommate and nurse Eula. The food was bland,so she was hungry the majority of the time she was there. She was treated rudely by one of the aids who told her "She was not going to take care of her." She was mad because15 minutes after she changed my mom's depend, she urinated again so she rang to be changed and the aid refused too. She waited 4 hrs. before someone changed her causing more bed sores. All the people in this facility deserve to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect! I would think long and hard before I placed my family member in this home. I left a message for the administrator to call me on Tuesday the 26th December so I could talk to her about my mom's stay. She has yet to call. I am not happy with the treatment my mom received and when she was brought back home they forgot to send her antibiotic pills she needed to finish, so my husband called the Nursing facility to see if the could send them to us since we live 1 1/2 hrs. away and was told no we needed to come get them so my husband had to drive 3 hrs round trip to get the meds because of their mistake. This is an excellent facility, and all eligible applicants are welcome. On touring the facility, I found it to be clean and odor-free. Staff is attentive and kind, and the residents appear happy and pleasant. My father is not currently in a skilled nursing home, but he has been in the past. If he were to need this level of care in the future, I would definitely seek placement here.
