Place smells like death and good luck getting a refund of unspent funds back! We paid $7000 dollars upfront for my father to be admitted, he made it one day at this facility. Coming up on 3 months and we still have not received a refund. I have called everyone I can there and get the same answer of “let me look into it and call you back” except no one will call you back! I’m assuming they are holding onto the fund to accrue some interest?? Not an honest place for mom or dad!!!

I have mixed feelings about this place and the staff. Some of the staff there are nice and seem to be concerned about the patients but then there's some who shouldn't be working there. I can't remember the workers names but I will say the man who works the kitchen area and goes around to the rooms to see what the patients can and can't eat, he was really nice and if something wasn't done correctly he was on it to try making sure it was corrected. A couple of the ladies that worked at the front entrance, they were also really nice. A few other workers as well but then you have those who go to the rooms to check on the patient's, change their bedding , help them to the bathroom, wash them up, change them.. also if the patients are on oxygen and it needs to be checked on . Well it seems they lack on doing their job. When the bedding needs to be changed, you are supposed to change it, not sit the clean bedding at the foot of the bed and walk out. If someone needs to be changed because the staff member didn't do their job by helping the patient to the bathroom so they have to lay in bed hours throughout the day waiting for someone to change them and clean them up.... that is neglect. If you don't want to do your job and take care of the patients, then you shouldn't be working there. I'm sure you wouldn't like it if that was your family member being treated that way. Those people who are a patient there need to be treated with respect and the proper care. The place rinks bad. It smells like poop all down the halls. They have people sitting throughout the halls where sometimes hard to get by. They have patients going in the wrong room because they forget where their room is and think they are in the right room. The microwave and refrigerator that's for the patients are nasty and smell. I really think that place should be checked on and I think the patients should be checked on from time to time. Some of the staff workers should also be closely watched. Like I said, not all the staff workers are badm They do have some who are really nice and caring but some of those staff workers shouldn't be working in a place like that if they're not going to do their job. Another thing, when the staff workers wash the patients clothes they don't even make sure the clothes go back to the right person. They just give other parents clothes to other patients. It saddens me and breaks my heart to know anyone who stays there getting neglected.
I am very satisfied with the service I received has a patient at GRMC I found the staff to be very attentive to my needs . The nurses did everything they were allowed to do to heal.my wounds and comfort my pains . I also like to mention the support I received from social services went beyond my expectations, great job Ashley. Also , the therapy team was greatly concerned that my abilities to be able to take care of myself were met . love you guys I feel like you are part of my family , THANK YOU
I’m so proud of this facility and all of the work they have done to make it the best SNF in the area. I know several of the employees in this facility and work very closely with them. They truly do care about their patients and go out of their way to give them the best rehab experience possible.
My mother was in rehab after a stroke which impaired the left side of her body as well as a broken hip. Some of her care partners were very attentive and caring. Discharge planning were terrible the worst I’ve ever seen. Notice of discharge only hours before actually wanting to discharge, unwilling to order necessary equipment for care at home ( a bed ) said she didn’t qualify she has five conditions that any one would qualify her to receive a bed which is completely necessary to care for her at home. I had to bypass the facility and call her doctor myself who expedited the delivery of the bed. They diagnosed her as mobile because two workers could transfer her into a wheelchair but she couldn’t stand even with assistance much less walk. They were unwilling to to order medical transport to get her home, they told me they were closed and gave me the number to call myself which I did immediately after hanging up with them, they were not closed I was told medical transport could be there within 3 hours but the facility would have to call and order. I called the facility back to let them know what I had been told the only person willing to talk to me was the receptionist who was very nice and caring but unable to assist in her transport. My brother did have to transport her himself with no help from anyone in the facility which resulted in skin tears and multiple severe bruising. Do not entrust the care of your loved ones to this facility.
