My grandmother recently moved into Grand Living and we feel such a big sense of relief knowing she is happy and cared for in this community. The staff have been literal angels during what has been an extremely difficult transition in my grandmother's life. There is a genuine care not only for her well being but also for us as her caregivers that I can't promise I would find anywhere else.

An absolutely stunning building for its residents. This facility offers exceptional rehab care and on-site therapists for Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapies. The building staff are very friendly and offer many extra amenities. This includes, underground parking garage, concierge service and chauffeur service included in your stay. They have an outdoor dog park and are pet friendly!
We ate at the Grand Living Holiday buffet on Christmas with our family of 9 and the food was excellent- beef tenderloin, lobster tail, and the dessert bars were quite delicious. Really did not expect this high caliber of food and presentation but will definitely join our parents again at their home in Grand Living. Everyone working there is trying for the best experience for the residents and their guests.
After visiting several retirement communities in central Iowa, it was clear Grand Living offered the best situation for my mother. The admissions folks at GL were absolutely wonderful and professional. The facility is top level as is the food. Grand Living has a friendly and welcoming environment which begins with the staff and carries over to the residents. The schedule of daily activity options is truly amazing. The units are also perfectly sized for the needs of retirees. GL promotes an active lifestyle for the residents which is a huge health benefit. I can't say enough good things about GL.
We have been thrilled with our experience with Grand Living at Tower Place in WDM. From the moment, dad and my sisters arrived for a tour the staff made efforts to make him feel comfortable and at ease. Katie couldn't have been more accommodating with her time and her response time is amazing. As he has settled in, he has found the other residents to be so friendly, reaching out to him and welcoming him to the community. It is clear the best interest of each resident is a top priority. The facility is well maintained and safe. Dad really enjoys the pool, the fitness rooms, classes and the dedicated fitness gurus give him the extra attention that meets his needs. He appreciates breakfast, lunch and dinner are in their own dining areas so his day is not repetitive. Personally, I have toured dozens of communities over the past 7 years and Grand Living WDM impressed me the most because of how well the space is designed. It is compact enough so it is not a trek from the apartment to the dining room or the pool... feels like a resort with so multiple daily activities. When I am there visiting I love how the residents are out and about at all times of the day, not just meal times. These are active and social residents.... not to mention the bright, clean and modern environment. We couldn't be happier with our experience.
