4 years ago we moved my wife’s mom into Grand Cove. We moved her in as a self pay resident. This was prior to Hurricane Laura hitting the area. Prior to Laura hitting and all residents being moved to another facility Grand Cove was pretty good. After returning from the hurricane relocation the care provided was severely diminished and the homes focus changed money and not care. Move on to December 2024 we had exhausted all funds (000,000.00 of money) to pay for Grand Cove and decided to move her back into our home. We made plans to have her moved out on Dec 31st but the home health company failed to show up till approx 8pm with the bed and equipment needed to complete the move. Due the home health issue she had to spend the night going into Jan 1st. She was transported out Grand Cove before 9am on the first. A month later Grand Cove had to nerve to bill us for a complete days rate. This seems to be the greediest thing I have ever seen since we had just spent every last cent of money ($000,000.00) on her care and they have the nerve to charge for her spending the night. I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a home for your family please look elsewhere because all they care about is money. , Broke.

The Grandcove team on the rehab side has been AWESOME! Everyone has been super nice and extremely helpful. We went in not knowing what we were doing or what to expect. Thank you for helping is with this journey no one wants to be on.
Grand Cove is a great facility. The staff is very attentive and focused on giving my mother the best possible care. They are always available to answer any questions or concerns that we might have. The physical therapy that they are providing has been very effective. And most importantly, my mom is happy here! She loves the staff and all of the activities that they offer.
The workers seem to be helpful. My sister is there for rehab, and she says the people are very nice and friendly. The food looks good, but she can’t have seasoning so that makes a difference.
My grandmother today had the sweetest and most patient nurse. She was attentive and assisted with our concerns. The nurse actually was the one to figure out she was cold and this shows she has learned my grandmothers communication style. It’s the little things that make a patient feel cared for and to put the families mind at ease! Thank you for today! The staff was very friendly from entry all the way to her room. ❤️ facilities were clean and decorated very nicely for the holidays :)
