My Mother-in-Law is at Grand Brook. Last time we arrived, my MIL was dressed so nicely, she was playing Bingo, and so happy! We wanted to take her to lunch and Becky, one of the aides asked us if she could please take my MIL to the bathroom first. Becky had the sweetest, genuine big smile. She said she was so happy to help. My MIL gets so much love there! We are so relieved to know her care is so genuinely loving.

Grand Brook Memory Care Garland is the best place for our Mother Fern Boughton! She has the best care and support staff and enjoys the other residents.
If you are looking for top notch care for your loved one, Grand Brook Garland is where you need to be! Everyone from the Directors to Community Relations to the head nurse to the caregivers are FANTASTIC! My mother was there less than a week and I was greeted every visit by my first name. The facility takes time to talk with their incoming residents and family so that they know them personally. The facility is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and feels like home. The atmosphere is calm, which is very important. The food is well balanced and according to my mother, “delicious!” Activities are happening all day long and residents are engaged. The caregivers are held to a high standard here and I have witnessed love, patience and kindness. So thankful for a place that gives me peace of mind.
Grand Brook Memory Care has truly exceeded all of my expectations. I had to move my grandmother from her previous memory care home. She has been living here for a short time now, and the improvement in her quality of life and well-being in such a short amount of time has been truly remarkable. The staff is exceptional, always going above and beyond to ensure her comfort and well-being, treating her with dignity and respect. They truly care about each and every resident and you can feel the genuineness in that when you meet them. All of the staff members know each resident by name and know their stories - it’s incredible. The memory care is outstanding, with activities designed to stimulate and engage residents. My grandma never left her room at her old place and now she is out of her room all day long interacting with others. The facility itself is warm and welcoming, with beautiful gardens and common areas along with cozy and comfortable rooms for each resident. The peace of mind I have gained and the anxiety that has diminished knowing my grandmother is in such capable hands is invaluable. I feel truly blessed to have found this little treasure of a home for her.
My mother has been a resident of Grandview Memory Care for 6 years. Each year I am more impressed and grateful for the wonderful care she has received. The caregivers genuinely show care and compassion for all the residents. It is so nice to have doctors and dentists come right to her for check ups. We also have the option to have a salon specialist cut, style hair, and give manicure/ pedicure. In addition, the daily activities of exercise, trivia, bingo, music and dancing are wonderful. I even enjoy being apart of these activities. 6 years ago my mom was a challenge and she was treated with compassion. As she has declined I have been continually posted with updates on any changes taking place. Now my mother is receiving Hopice services. Grandbrook works hand in hand with the hospice social workers and caregivers. Having a facility take your loved one is an emotional and tough decision. When I have struggled with this I have been given constant support from Janene, Tangi and other caregivers. I would recommend Grandbrook Memory Care to anyone seeking a caring, supportive and compassionate facility for your loved one.
