My father was there for rehab for about a month last year. Shortly thereafter, my mother broke her hip and also ended up there. They were so kind as to place them across the hall from each other. For three weeks, they worked around my mother's diet restrictions, providing appetizing (albeit a little cool) and delicious meals. They were excellent with therapy and got both of them back on their feet. The staff was out of this world. Stacy, for instance, called at me when I was leaving with my mother. "Hang on! I need a hug!" Yep, that's how they roll. The front desk staff are awesome. The building is really nice and clean. The rooms are spacious, and I would love to recommend this place to anybody....except I don't want to. My dad needs to go back in again, and they're full. Dang.

Our 97 yo mother moved into assisteed living 5 months ago. This place is FANTASTIC!!! The grounds are well kept. The building & rooms are immaculate. Food is exceptional. Staff are exceptional & caring. Sharon, the receptionist, is a treasure. My only complaint is how difficult it is to navigate the halls. Elevators are hidden in nooks without signage. The dining area has no visible sign outside. My suggestions: * Have a decent LARGE map to share with residents and visitors. * Have large visibility signs sticking out in hallways for all destinations (such as eating areas, reception desks, elevators). * Different wings of the building campus are a nightmare. Instead of a universal brown beige color scheme... Have different colored carpeting (ie tan, red, green) for different wings with hallways painted to match. Have navigation orientations at elevator doors to minimize frustrating trips to dead end locations (or me... getting locked into the altzheimer's ward & having to ask for help getting out!)
My mother in law has Alzheimer's and dementia. Her son and I cared for her at home 😢 until we were forced to move her to grace pointe. They have a wonderful and caring staff. I'm so glad we found them after trying several other places that were less than desirable
It is a much more pleasant place to visit our parents..my father in law no longer refers to it as the prison.. He can sit in a recliner like he used to in his own home. Some sort of location map would be helpful to find your way around. It is beautiful and welcoming
The facility is amazing. The staff are caring. They go above and beyond. I want only the best for my Mom and I feel like she has it at Gracepointe. Thank you all for taking wonderful care of my Mom.
