My mother spent 6 months at this facility. When she went there she could walk after her discharge she could no longer walk. Also was told that she had to have her foods pureed because she wasn't chewing her food. When she came to live with my husband and me she was chewing just fine. All I ever heard from them were lies and all they are interested in is the money. Thank God she is no longer in that facility.

The women who work in healthcare who say over and over again that it is all purely clinical as concerns male patient exposure sing a different tune when they are the patient. My guess is that the overwhelming majority of women who work in hospitals would object to a male CNA helping them take a shower or giving them a bed bath. They would object to a male mammographer doing their mammogram or a male sonographer doing their vaginal ultrasound. They would object to a male scribe watching their full skin exam or male techs doing their urodynamics studies. Why? If it is all purely clinical they wouldn’t care whether male staff did any of these things. But they do care which affirms that they absolutely do not see healthcare as being purely clinical. If it’s not purely clinical when they are the patient, there is no way they are being honest when they say it is purely clinical when they are the caregiver. They can’t be in two places on this issue.
they have a FEW good workers here but for the most part, they are very understaffed and do not care about their patients. The alleged patient advocate does not work for you! they work for the facility and do not advocate for the patient at all! This should be the absolute LAST place you select for your loved ones! Their motto... do not believe it. They do not work from their hearts they work from their pockets. You can be assured the person that is playing cards and smiling on the home page is from another nursing home! that does not happen here!
This place does not deserve anything but a negative rating. My mother went in with a leg fracture; she left with decubitus, aspiration pneumonia, and a UTI. They never did the rehab that was ordered. A male aid on the night shift refused to give her water. That same aid jerked a remote out of her hand and caused a cut. She was kept in the bed instead of her getting the rehab she needed. We were told that her orthopedic doctor had ordered bed rest, when in fact he did not. Her 100 days were up so she was sent to my sister's house in an ambulance with a fever and a bottle of antibiotics. My sister had to call another ambulance to take her to the hospital. It was found she had bruises from her mid back to her lower back. Large bruises. Someone will answer for this. I wonder how they can sleep with how they treat their patience. Update: We just found out Mom has tested positive for MRSA.
My mother did not live 2 weeks after we let her go to this place,they did not protect her and did not put her safety first.Big mistake to let your loves ones go here,don’t be without your love one like we are.My mom would be here today but these people did not care
