I cannot comment on the care of the patients in this facility. But I can comment on how the employees are treated. Our daughter is a new single-parent having just gone through a very hateful and vindictive divorce proceeding. Her ex AND his family have done everything he/they can to ruin her including taking her vehicle, not helping with childcare, etc. She has no family, (her family is in Texas) no friends that can help yet the employer has had very little compassion on her. No one has offered to help her with transportation, (it's hard to get kids to school/childcare and to work without a vehicle,) they fired her instead. Assuming HR reps have children of their own, I would think there would be more empathetic in situations like this. Sick children cannot go to daycare or school - as health-care workers you should know this - fever free for 24 hours. Without family available to help, this leaves a single-parent in a very difficult and stressful situation. Why not try to team up with parents in these circumstances to help them get on their feet instead of kicking them when they are down. I would never even consider working here. It's no wonder you are constantly short-staffed if this is how you treat your employees.
Need more help and nurses that really care for the residents. Right now I would never put another family member there.
