We are lucky to get our loved one out of there alive, soo many things are wrong with this place. When you bring your concerns to the management they pass the buck over and over, when they run out of staff to blame then they blame the family. We had a scheduled meeting about our loved ones progress and not once did we talk about that, I recorded the meeting and also asked for the minutes of the meeting which they didn't have but still tried to make an official report which does not match my recording of the meeting and just shows how dishonest they are and they all complied to the same narrative like robots which you can be sure is how they are trained to never admit anything and shift the blame onto the resident and their familys. They sent us a bill for 4 days that was $1880 which they also threatened to turn over to collections when in fact it has been paid by the insurance company! Save yourself a headache and keep your loved ones home,safe and sound! Every single elderly needs an advocate and because our loved one left their facility because they didn't feel safe and recorded everything, this facility put on his discharge papers AMA and VAP! And just for the record our loved one is doing soo much better out of their care and in their own home.

What a fantastic job you all did with your trick or treating event! So great of you to bring in all these wonderful kids who made all your residents smile! This truly shows the love and concern you have for each one of your residents! What a fantastic “home away from home” you provide for each one of them. Keep up the GREAT work MILLER POINTE!
As an actual resident of this facility, I can honestly tell you that this place is wonderful and the staff is amazing. The complaints I've seen from other reviewers are for the most part unfounded. Things like missing an item or so from food orders is really no big deal when you see how busy these people can be and see how hard they are working. No place is going to be perfect but this facility truly goes out of their way to do whatever they can with what they have. I highly recommend this facility to all. On a side note in reference to its cleanliness of the establishment itself, it is constantly being cleaned and its kept up very well. Same goes for the hygiene of its residents.
3 years ago they hired lots of African travel staff cna from liberia just that the place went down management refuse to look into staff was not taking of the residents and got worst everyday would not recommend any family to put your family here. And what family mention not calling family members and telling them they loved one is dying 100% true because i were there when residents are dying and nurse ignore when i mention to call someone because their pulse is very low another residents we were right with her when she died never heard not calling family when loved one is dying. Wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone. Lack of management in all areas of this facility are very poor. Staffing is a big issue, that the residents don't get the proper care required, from repeated on daily basis,the dietary, the food almost always cold or missing something that was ordered by the residents,the time they wait to be served. Medications are mixed up, lost, or run out so resident goes without for periods of time, cleanliness, in 2 months bathroom floors have not been cleaned, personal hygiene, residents have gone a week and half without bathing. Update: After posting this a little over a week ago, several more severe issues have occurred, unprofessional nurse withheld medications from my father because he was upset that it was way past his time to receive breathing treatment and insulin and other meds, finally got ahold of another nurse to administrator them...food issues even after had a meeting again... My parents moved to another facility on Monday and all my dad's medications that were sent to new facility had also some other residents meds mixed in the bag with my dad's so was he getting someone else's meds administered to him???? And they filled his prescription wrong dose??? These are serious medications error and incompetent people!!!! Carelessness.... This facility needs to be shut down!!!!! 21 deficiencies they got in January
