When you walk in the facility reminds you of institutions in the 60 when you go on the units there's two to three people in the room they have no privacy whatsoever some of the staff are nice and some of them are very rude some of the belongings are missing or in another clients' closet when asked about it you don't get a straight answer I wouldn't recommend this place at all there's other place 100% better than this you might want to check into another facility if you have your family there and if you do and you feel like you have no choice well you do have a choice there's a lot of other facilities an agency you can contact they'll be more than willing to help you..

This is the worst place I have been in. They do NOT turn as needed let alone )every two hours as the doctor has ordered. I have been lucky to be turned twice a day. The staff here is half and half on kindness and caring. Meaning half of them like their job and treat patients with compassion and the other half are only here for a paycheck. Nurses and aides included. The housekeeping staff are kind and caring. The food here is not good and they never get your menu order correct. There is usually something or several things missing on every tray, on all meals. They use brown paper towels for napkins and plastic silverware half the time. This not the place for your loved one.
We admitted both of my parents here for rehab and long term care and I cannot say enough about this community. They were there for us every step of the way during my mother's hospice and eventual passing. My father completed rehab here twice and both times he was very pleased with the staff in nursing and in therapy. I work in senior care in a different area and I ALWAYS recommend Fountainview first. The building is older but the care is outstanding, do not hesitate to place your loved one in their hands.
Staff is slow at responding to calls, food is horrid, portions are utterly pathetic. Hallways reek of urine so strong that it burns your nose and throat. Nurses attitudes are unfriendly, uncaring, aides can be rough when handling a loved one. Too bad there isn’t a choice to leave no stars as this place doesn’t even deserve ONE. Floors are constantly dirty and they take their sweet time getting the place cleaned up. Only person fit for a place this bad is Trump.
Absolutely horrible 💔. They told me he didn't have family and I'm his only kid that I know of. They have no idea about my life or what he did to my mother. They let me know he died in the ambulance but then the hospital said they brought him back but then he died again. I got two phone calls that morning with no care from anyone. after all that by rude adminstration I had to track his body down to make sure it was him and get him to the Haverstocks furneral home. I had seen him 4 times since I turned an adult. He tracked me down and that was the best. I was finally getting to know him. In my opinion the only caring people at Golden Living was his nurses and his housekeeper. They were nice. And helped him call me when he wanted. The rest are horrible people.
