My dad was transported from the hospital to Golden Gate Rehabilitation. Being in the hospital was a setback for him but his stay at Golden Gate Rehab assisted him in making a comeback. The facility and staff were remarkable. His care was consistent and definitely affective. The entire staff from administration, therapists, doctors, nurses and aides were very personable and attentive to my fathers needs. Thank you everyone at Golden Gate for such a positive experience in every way possible.

my mom just got there from Staten Island Hospital a few hours ago and everybody already took the time to introduce themselves and give her everything she needs to get started. Everybody was very respectful Polite and professional. I am so thankful they had a bed for my mom at Golden Gate
My father had a UTI. They took a sample of his urine and then said it was contaminated They said they had to take another sample and the results would take another 4 days . He has dementia and the UTI was making him lose his mind. I went and bought an over the counter test and it was positive. They still said they would not treat him for it. I called an ambulance and he’s doing very good now. He also was having dialysis 4xs a week there. He was due to have it on a Friday that I was there. They never did it. They waited until Saturday. He is also diabetic and they knew that he was getting insulin but they feed him pasta almost every night. And gave him bread for breakfast lunch and dinner. His sugar was running over 400 and they wouldn’t raise the amount of insulin. So if you want your relative treated like a piece of garbage this is the place. I would never recommend this place. They have so many reports of neglect. I wasn’t aware of now looking into it they are the worst!! Stay far away from here!!!!!!!
Last night my dad was transported from the hospital to Golden Gate. I was greeted by a friendly guard at the desk and the sign in process was impressive. The nurses we met were very nice. My dad will be there for a few weeks and I'm expecting him to get great care.
No one usually goes to a nursing facility by choice but the care here has been more than satisfactory. My brother has been a patient here for the last month and has made great gains and has received outstanding care. The facility is very clean and updated.
