Glengariff Rehabilitation is located in a quiet place on Glen Cove. First time coming here was a bit confusing, we didn’t know the place has two separate buildings with two separate lobbies and we ended up asking for direction to the correct building where my grandmother was. We came on a Sunday and while the staff were helpful and courteous, they lacked nurses and aides. I’m not sure it’s because it was a Sunday but it was extremely hard to get hold of a staff to ask for basic needs. A lot of elderly here were probably trying to get some help from the aides or nurses to no avail. I hope there are more staff on call during weekdays. Place is clean and have some parking available for visitors. The main lobby is extremely nice and well decorated, they have a large lounge for guests to relax and they also served Starbucks Coffee with a machine. The check in is also fairly easy, they have a little tablet to input your name and prints out your visitor pass. I would like to thank all the staff here trying to accommodate all the elderly to their comfort care, I know it’s not easy but doing their part to comfort their care and help aiding their basic everyday needs brings comfort to the families heart. ❤️

My Dad was cared for at Glengariff for almost 2 months, and I cant say enough about how caring the entire team was for the entire duration of his stay. While his stay at the Rehab was relatively short, the support staff and the front office, showed incredible care and love in taking care of him, in every way possible. To sum it all up, the facility is beautiful, very clean and the staff is very caring.
I cannot thank the team at Glengariff Care Center enough for the exceptional care they provided to my aunt after her hip surgery. From the moment she arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and supported throughout her recovery. A special shout-out to the management team for their attentiveness and professionalism. They ensured everything ran smoothly and addressed all our questions with care and compassion. It’s clear that they genuinely prioritize the well-being of their residents. The facility was always clean and welcoming, and the staff’s kindness and expertise made a challenging time so much easier for our family. I wholeheartedly recommend Glengariff Care Center to anyone in need of excellent care for their loved ones.
Our mom unexpectedly had a very rough February and spent most of the month in the hospital. She was very frail when she was discharged and we decided to bring her here based on reviews and the fact they had inpatient dialysis. Well I just want to say WOW! The care she has been receiving has been nothing less than outstanding. She loves the people, PT, the dialysis staff, and is even raving about the food. This has been a priceless gift that our whole family is beyond grateful for. Thank you Glengariff Staff-- for taking such great care of our mom.
Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a good Rehab Center. Although physically the center offers amenities and comfort the best offer is its well mannered, educated and approachable staff. Overall, it was a good experience, I was a resident for 9 weeks. Due to my independent nature, for my care, I collaborated with the staff as much as I could. Unfortunately, I agree with Mr. Choi’s review on the shortage of staff. The food is not exotic-nor gourmet, the residents are served 3 meals daily, well balanced-good portions. The center has vending machines which are kept well stocked. Onto cleanliness, the center is kept clean; remodeling was taken place while my staying. I was able to have a spacious private room on the first floor. Recovering from an orthopedic surgery a good percentage of the recovery is Physical and Occupational Therapy, (PT, OT). The “gym” is well equipped. PT-OT are GREAT at Glengariff; the office, the staff, the Interns, everybody. The staff treats every patient with respect and kindness, above all exercising patience. PT: Esmeralda, Mark, Carlos. OT: Rob, Stephanie, Danielle, Isabella, Kayly, Nicole. I’d like to give recognition to Cristina and Khaleda, my assigned PT and OT, respectively, they outstanding therapists and individuals. (Pardon for the misspelling or the names that escaped my mind.) I’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and express my gratitude to David, Shua, Ashley, Olivia, Vivi, Violet, Dee, Carmen, Jeanick, Millie, Coco, Stanley and Tatu. Thanks to Val, the Social Worker and Nancy, Wound Team. Thanks to the Recreation Team: Donna and Iris ♥️ special treatment and consideration given to all the residents.
