I am a big fan! A million times better than the larger apartment building type places. This is a home for mom. Banana bread baking in the kitchen, mom sitting sitting outside watching the bunny rabbits. The home is staffed right for the attention to detail that is needed and lost in other facilities. Very happy we found Glenfield! Best thing we have done for mom.
I give this place 5 stars becahit is a wonderful place for your love ones. The staff is awesome people. They really treat your love ones like they where part of there own family. The owners and the managment is great people, when I came for a tour they made me feel right at home. An I can't forget about how the house is very clean and homey. And great place. I really recommend Glenfield to anyone.
Don't let looks deceive you,,building is a beautiful home like setting the only thing consent here is mealtimes,(no activities, use the right to refuse for an excuse(resident has rt 2 refuse meds ,showers etc,,,this is a state guideline, who gives a person with alzheimers disease a choice when it effects their basic needs,Staff an administrator are uneducated on the disease of alzheimers.My loved one was only there 6months an declined very bad in last two,even after we gave a camera to staff to help monitor more,she fell multiple times in their care,,administrator very defensive when issues brought to her attention, matter of fact would flat out lie about what happened are didnt,,,Beware!!! look elsewhere,an its really ashame this place has capabilities of being best memory care in the state if it only had the right people running it,,,
Awesome staff and unique activities like interactive BBQ and ice cream truck. They have amazing staffing and do so many one on ones with their clients!
