I was transferred to Glen Island Rehab from NY Presbyterian Hospital due to an accident in which I was placed in ICU. Due to a continued need for care my choice in Glen Island was an absolute blessing. The staff are all amazing and completely professional. The facilyy is very clean and located on the sound with beautiful view. Every day I woke to a happy nurse and staff which all gave me confidence in a speedy recovery. God bless everyone at the Glen island rehab. If you have a family member or yourself do not hesitate and rest assured you will be in the best loving care.
My grandfather has been here for over a year. Him being at this facility gives me such a piece of mind they take such good care of him he is always clean fed attended to. Placing your loved one in a facility is not an easy decision it makes a difference when you know the facility cares !
My father just arrived at this facility and it could not have been better. We were warmly greeted by the head nurse and other staff members who were all very welcoming, kind, and attentive right away. They immediately brought my father a warm, delicious meal. The facility is very clean and tidy, and appears to be recently renovated. The atmosphere is very calm, quiet, and peaceful and that puts my mind at ease. I feel very good about this place and I think my father will be in good hands!
My overall experience at the glen island center for nursing and rehabilitation was very good. The person at the front desk was very helpful, and the entry system was efficient and effective. The nurses I was exposed to were very nice and helpful, and very attentive to my friend who was a patient at the center. I would definitely recommend the center to anyone needing custodial and rehabilitative care.
