My mom here for short term rehab. Food sucks bad. Nurses are awesome. The doctor is weird. I would think they would make better food for money they get from tax payers and insurance. Would I ever recommend anyone go here no. Except for the awesome nurses. Other than that place is not best. For loved one. Definitely glad my mom stay only short term. My dog wouldn't even eat food they serve there 😂. Wasn't putting down the chef making the food the falicalty for not supplying food for the chef to make and enough to make. And why there pot holes in driveway are we waiting for someone to blow a tire by hitting one.

Don't send your family members here if you have the choice. The first few days will be nice, if you can willfully ignore the smell, or the residents screaming for help without anyone answering. Or the mold stains on the pillow cases that seem to be ignored purposefully, or the residents that wander unattended to the point where they take your family member's property. Genesis specializes in being the lowest common denominator for Healthcare. If you love your family members, don't send them here. You will be cut out of every process, they will work behind your back to ensure they make the most money without the care of your family's outcome. Go anywhere else. By the way, be mindful there are safe discharge laws, if you are not aware, this place will bully your family member right onto the streets. Be aware of your rights, be aware of the law. Advocate for your family, this place will act against you.
For the amount of money that is paid for a person to be there , some of the food lacked desire to eat, and the quality of service is bad , I actually took my mom her food everyday from home , mom was without air condition for 2 days when the temperature was almost 100 degrees outside , they fire the employees that are committed to they’re job and keep the ones that don’t fulfill they’re job responsibilities , like they are only there for a pay check . So beware of when your loved ones are put in a place like this and always watch at all times.. mediocre for the money that is paid to them .also there was one employee by the name of Brenda who can be somewhat sarcastic , we are paying her salary so she needs to seriously work on that and listen to what we are saying and less of the sarcasm . Seriously. 🤨 . Work on having a more positive attitude and represent your facility .
My mother was left laying in a urine soaked bed and clothes all day on a Saturday. She has a diaper rash and a uti now. She presses the button for an aid to help her and no one comes. Lights overtop doors all the way down the hall, the nurses station has no one answering phone calls. When asked they say they don’t have enough staff on weekends
My mother has been here @ Genesis for just over 2 years now, and this is my second review of the facility. I cannot possibly be anymore impressed with the Nursing Staff & their aides that assist them day to day. Recently, my mother seemed to have a few health issues arise and shortly after being addressed & diagnosed by the Nursing Staff, my mother's symptoms seemed to improve rapidly & significantly within 5 days. And on that note, I couldn't thank Linda F. the ( Director of Nursing ) here @ Genesis enough for her help with overseeing my mothers care. Unlike other facilities that moms been in, the staff here is ALWAYS just a call away & NEVER hesitates to return calls BEFORE the end of the day. The Nurses are friendly, the aides appear well trained & just as friendly, which by itself, is REALLY rare in most facilities & last ... I feel the need to mention someone who has over the past several months has become a REAL good friend ... and that would be Larry Sullivan, the Administrator Here @ Genesis aka the Millville Center. I've developed a REAL friendship with Larry and HE has made it quite clear ... that ... it is His goal here to make a difference & stay on top of day to day operations. And off the record, He seems to actually care about what goes on here and ... is ALWAYS eager to help out ! He's a good man who works long hours & I guess that's why I feel so compelled to write this review.
