To the Generations family and Strongsville team, I can not begin to thank all of you for the great care that you gave my mom while she was at Generations. She moved from her home she built from the ground up with her husband and children during the height of covid. It was such a scary time for her and our family and you all made her feel so welcomed and loved. I know you all went above and beyond to care for my mom every day. I had lost touch of the mom and son relationship the last few years she was home alone and more of the day to day care giver. When she finally came to her new home I became the son again and I am forever grateful for that. She loved all of you. From Maureen and Jeannie making sure she had everything she always needed to Scott and Bob making sure she made it to happy hour and bingo everyday, to Lucy and ALL of the nurses and aides making sure she stayed at Generations until she peacefully reunited with her husband Charlie. My husband and I became aware of Generations in Strongsville early last year when an older relative experienced a serious fall. She was hospitalized and we needed to find respite care for her husband. Generations was recommended so we placed him in the facility. When we eventually needed to find a permanent place for both, we were able to secure an apartment there. Since day one, the management and staff have been not only helpful, proficient and professional, but incredibly caring. Everything in the facility is beautifully done and well maintained. The food is consistently above average, and dietary needs are honored. Residents are offered varied opportunities for activities, including interest groups, outings, music performances, physical activities and classes, and more. All staff know each resident's name and are compassionate in their interactions with them. When one of the couple required hospice care, staff coordinated with hospice to facilitate their being able to spend the remaining time together. We highly recommend, if one is looking for a quality place for a loved one or themselves, Generations Senior Living - Strongsville.
During my fathers short stay at Generations he was treated with the utmost respect and care. Everyone was friendly, helpful, kind, caring……. The food was great. The apartment was the perfect size. The overall atmosphere was inviting. I wish he would have been able to settle in and take part in the many activities and outings they provide. I highly recommend Generations of Strongsville for the security and care of our seniors.
Generations went above and beyond for my MIL's huge move from living along in her own house in CA to moving to assisted living in Ohio. We were able to coordinate the move 100% remotely. The staff accommodated our needs by receiving and holding deliveries, changing the room to our satisfaction, and had very quick responses to questions via email and phone. After my MIL moved in I was able to spend some dedicated time getting to know the staff. EVERYONE is so happy, kind, and easy going. They are great listeners, resourceful, and very encouraging to all the residents. There were no silly questions---they took every question I asked seriously and was able to help me get the answers I needed. The building has a fantastic open floor plan that helps to keep everyone involved in the daily happenings. I am confident my MIL will thrive at Generations of Strongsville.
