As a social worker, I've turned to Generations Oakton Arms to meet the varied needs of my clients. The knowledgeable staff has been able to assess needs and tailor an individual plan of care. The rooms are spacious, milieu is clean and bright, with many opportunities for activities and socialization. I've been pleased with the on-site medical/care team, housekeeping, and meal service.

My mother has lived at Generations Oakton Arms for one and one half years. Over that time her dementia has progressed to the point that she is wheelchair bound and cannot hold a conversation. The staff at Generations have been kind and patient with her even when she is difficult. Her room is kept clean and she is dressed and up to her wheelchair every day. I would recommend Generations for their wonderful care and beautiful facility.
Beautiful facility, spacious one bedrooms and studios. Fun activities for residents!. Erin and the faculty staff go above and beyond. Highly recommend
I was in search for an Assisted Living facility for my elderly aunt who was getting too unstable to live on her own anymore, and was currently going through rehab for a recent fall. My aunt was not very keen at moving to an assisted living facility, as she has been on her own since 18, and being well into her 90’s now, did not want to give up her independence. Generations at Oakton Arms was in the area where my aunt lived, and decided to take a tour of the facility with my aunt. We met the Director Maria, and we were shown the two styles of units they had, a one-bedroom apartment and a studio apartment. I was impressed by the size of the one-bedroom apartment, as well as how spacious the studio apartment felt. During the tour, I could tell that my aunt was impressed, and seemed to sit up a little more in her wheelchair as we went around the facility. The facility is very clean, and the common areas are nice and spacious. Met some of the other staff, and some of the residents. I could tell that Maria had a passion for what she does, and truly cares for the wellbeing of the residents. After the tour, my aunt was a bit excited, and we put down a deposit on one of the units. Even though my aunt was not able to move in right away as she was still in rehab, Maria let us start moving things in ahead of time, so when she was released, she would be all set to move in. After we moved in my aunt’s furniture and personal items into the unit, and got it all set up for her, and tried to make it looks similar to her apartment, and then we got her over to see her new place. She was so excited, that she got up out of her wheelchair and walked around looking at everything. Unfortunately, God had other plans for my aunt, and she was not able to move in, but during the whole experience, Maria and the staff at Generations were wonderful and was a pleasure working with them.
We recently brought a loved one here, and I have nothing but positive things to say about the intake process. Alexa in admissions and Liz in the finance department are OUTSTANDING! Not only did they make an overwhelming process manageable, but they were also incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Both Liz and Alexa were quick to respond. They returned all of my phone calls and emails with positivity, kindness, and patience. They are truly remarkable humans. These two ladies made me feel that Generations at Oakton Arms was the right fit for our loved one.
