Things have been improved in my dream retirement home in this community where have the best neighbors who get together with ice-cream social and game night. Now my most and major listed problems on my newly built house have been taking care. I'm able to sleep better. This community has a good location with a shopping centers and farmers markets near by and I have fresh veggies and fruits everyday. It also had a walking/ biking trail by the water.

I accidentally found Riverbend Homes while looking to purchase a newly constructed house. Upon arrival to the office, I met Sales Managers Melissa & Laurie. They both played A SIGNIFICANT ROLE, in me finally signing a contract on October 31, 2023, to build my home, with Gemcraft. They each were exceptionally warm, EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, and held my hand throughout the entire process, as this was my first time housing purchase. Then I met Jill, the Loan Originator for Envoy Mortgage, who works with Gemcraft. Although not in person, but over the phone. She also walked me through everything, staying updated with current interest and mortgage rates. Having served in the military, Jill secured me a VA loan, for which I came to the settlement table, with no money down. Additionally, closing costs ended up being 1/2 of what we anticipated over the next several months. And I must make extremely honorable mention of Brendan, who is the Building Manager for Gemcraft. When we had our initial sit down, Brendan was amazingly friendly and patient. Plus, he was impeccably detailed, highly organized, and totally thorough with presenting the entire plan, for building my home, from roof to basement. Also, true to Brendan's estimate, my home was finished exactly 90 days from breaking ground, and it's completion. About Gemcraft, the builder, I took full advantage of their promotional 40 percent off options, and got everything ever wanted, in my dream home. And I appreciate Gemcraft in giving me a FREE garage door opener for being a Veteran of the US Air Force. The opener has been a sheer delightful pleasure, to use every time I go in and out of my garage. Last but not least, I want to recognize Longo & Associates, the Law Firm used by Gemcraft for settlements on their homes. They made the closing / settlement process on my Riverbend home, covering all of the specific legalities, which included signing numerous documents, fairly simple and practically stress free. There is so much more I could say. However, I think this synopsis is long enough for now. Of course as with anything, especially when constructing a house from the ground up, it is not unusual for there to be bumps in the road. Consequently, I can't say that every single thing is perfect. For we are all still, fallible human beings. But in essence, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE what I call: "My miracle dream home!" Because it is way beyond, what I could ever imagine! And despite negative reviews seen about Gemcraft, I am so much more, content and satisfied, living in my new construction home, which overall, is really well built. I've been living in this home since July 31st 2024, and haven't experienced any of the nightmare stories, other people complained about. Particularly those situations dealing with builders, and newly developed homes. I would definitely give a thumbs up, along with recommendations, of Riverbend by Gemcraft Homes, to my family members and friends!
Melissa was a joy to work with. She was very attentive—even helped us during her time off! Our home is well built and wonderfully located—near to everything you need yet still in a natural setting.
