This facility is a very nice, clean and well maintained house where my mother has lived for the last year and a half. Even when they get new staff, everyone is pleasant and caring in their interactions with her and the family. They make sure her needs are met and alert us if there are any issues. The owners are there regularly and take an active role in making sure residents are well cared for.

My dad needed extra care and were blessed to find Garden Ridge Assisted Living. He was treated with great kindness, love, and respect. This facility is more like a home setting, clean and comfortable, with freshly prepared meals, enriching activities, and a staff that is kind and loving. Unlike other larger facilities that we experienced. Garden Ridge Assisted Living is focused on providing exceptional care for the few patients they have.
I moved my family member to this facility in November from a facility that was giving him poor care. I was amazed at the cleanliness of the facility and the attentiveness of the staff. I also have observed him enjoying the meals that he is served, saying it is delicious. He had been complaining about the food at the other facility I moved him from. The most amazing difference I see with this facility is that they keep family informed of what is happening. Not only that, but he is being cared for so well that everyone that visits states he looks great! Juan and his staff have gone above and beyond for my family member. I would recommend anyone needing care for family to check this facility out for themselves.
My family has had to deal with several nursing homes. We were so Blessed when a friend told us about Garden Ridge Assisted Living. We saw a difference right away. The place is beautiful and well kept. There are not enough words to express the loving, caring and professionalism of the staff . We are forever grateful and appreciate the care they gave to my Mom. My Mother passed away last month and to know how well she was loved and taken care is such a comfort. If you or anyone you know needs their services..Please give them a call. You will find peace knowing your loved one is in the best of hands..Thank You So much Garden Assisted Living..We love you all.
So very disappointed in this assisted living. At first everything was okay, then I saw a very HIGH turn over rate in staff. Staff DOES NOT speak English and owner is very defensive if you bring up concerns. My family member was not given his meds. ( and if staff wants to cover this up…. Then why did I pick up 3 unopened bottles of meds, and no these were not extra bottles) I have so many complaints about this place and the owner…. My family member fell out of bed leading to a black eye and cuts and bruises and I wasn’t even notified, apparently the bed rail was not put up. Patients complain about food, and heaven forbid if they ask for something then they are labeled “ difficult” and your monthly rate goes up past 5000./ month. Your loved ones deserve so much better than just stuck in a chair in front of the TV all day… then it’s off to bed. I found this place through my hospice lady whose father just happens to own Garden Ridge…. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST RED FLAG!!!!! Just because an assisted living place is clean does not mean it gives good care, they are more concerned with their place being clean than the care of their patients. My family member stood up for the first time ( in a new place) in a year at being at Garden Ridge and is being allowed to feed himself even if that means he makes a mess. Oh and if you sign a contract that says all payments are due by the first of every month ( which I pay ON TIME… due to my contract) they will change the date without notice and expect you to be a mind reader and know they want their money earlier. Then you are labeled difficult and states that you are complaining about your loved ones care. And they will complain that you have the wrong contract…. WELL WHOS FAULT IS THAT???? His Daughter (Hospice contact) does his book keeping. Yes, I still have ALL my emails noting as such!!!! There should be a rule that if you work for a HOSPICE company you cannot promote your family’s business. LOL … I GUESS IF YOU SAY “ J—-“ ( fathers name) instead of my father you’re really not promoting YOUR FAMILYS BUSINESS.
