I had the pleasure of working with these individuals, and I feel the reviews don’t do justice. I would gladly stay here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to let any of my family do the same. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, I can confidently say you won’t find a place like this in the Bronx (sorry) or Queens (not sorry). We’re in Brooklyn, lets relax a bit with the light on facts reviews. As a licensed healthcare professional, I encourage ANYONE to objectively voice your factual concerns to the proper agencies, even if you don’t think it should be reported; if you are concerned about it, report it, but do so with honesty and fairness, do not weaponize it to a mechanism of control. One member of our society wrote: I have broken down one such weapon of mass de function here 1. "Staff is very unpleasant" Whom? The entire staff? If that’s what you mean, that’s a bald-faced lie; articulate who you had this experience with; there are ways to address this; labeling the entire staff unpleasant is baseless and laughable. 2. "Unprofessional"? Let's dive into that! Who exactly are we talking about here? Do you mean the entire staff, or was it someone outside the team, like a vendor? As dedicated professionals, they have high standards for conduct—did someone truly step out of line? Or was it simply a case of unmet expectations? Hey, we can't all do three backflips and a pirouette at 3 AM while performing a Bach overture in C-Major, right? Maybe it stung a bit that MaiMaw landed at number 34 on the HHA’s list for that same recital! When my mother had a stroke, my advice was to lower her expectations, and if you do, you’ll be amazed by what these hardworking pros can achieve! Remember, they’re just like you, human with two hands, so let's treat them with the respect they deserve!” 3. "And so on". Now, I’m not attempting to be funny here, as that would be rude, right? According to Webster, “The phrase "so on" is a brief, common way to indicate continuation or repetition of something previously mentioned.” So, I’m not following you on this. Do better Humans, plz

My Mom was there maybe 10 years ago, they took all her money and they put her in a broom closet with no windows, they created a room in a broom closet, my Mom had no place to go, the food was negative 5 stars if there is such a thing, diluted soup, cheap hotdogs completely in edible, when I threatened to take her out of there, they refused. With the help of her social worker I was able to leave with her. I would not give them my dead dog to look after. Despicable people.
I was forced to give this place 1 Star so my review would be posted. I knew someone who lived there 25 years ago and it was a nightmare of a facility even then!! She told me her clothes were constantly disappearing and there were limited accommodations for clothes storage anyway. The inadequate staff was totally unqualified to deal with the patients. The Management was the worst. They would turn a deaf ear and not deal with legitimate problems that were brought to their attention by concerned relatives. Garden of Eden??? What a joke!
2 of the 5 star reviews are with the last name Kogan. Michelle Kogan, maybe owner, from the administration is their family member. Family reviews to give 5 star reviews tells you a lot about the place! Not impressed. 5 star reviews should be earned. Hope Google takes that down.
I have to share this with the world. This place should be shut down. When my sister was sent there after her hospital stay, it is the worst place to send any human beings. Staff is very unpleasant, unprofessional and so on. My sister was physically abused by one of the workers. The food is horrible, doesn't follow good nutrition. They don't return your phone calls. This should be a place, where people should feel comfortable sending their loved ones. I hope whoever works there and doesn't attend to the residents with care, one day they will be in their place. Shame on you people.
