The Gables in Ojai welcomed my sister & I immediately after contacting the facility for information on their Memory Care . We were honest , we were dealing with a family crisis and they did not hesitate to open their doors for all of our many questions , helped us get a good sense of their community and responded clearly as to how they could be of help to us as we navigated towards a new home for our sister who is struggling with Dementia. We were met with a professional staff who cared, listened and supported us through the whole process of our sisters move-in. It’s a hard journey and a very emotional one ! We are so Thankful that we found The Gables and for their outstanding support during this very difficult time . We know and trust our sister is in the best of care .

I had the opportunity to visit a friend living at the Gables this past weekend. I was impressed by the compassion and friendliness of the staff. The grounds are stunning and they have a vibrant calendar of events. Looking forward to my next visit.
Unfortunately the bosses who help run gables are very unprofessional and have a lack of empathy with each resident. Fail to ensure it a safe environment failed to keep the food from the kitchen sanitize almost all worker don’t wear gloves nor consistently wash there hands, you have a lack of anyone in the office to get back to you I would not suggest this place to leave your relative. Former employee of the gables. Owner offer to work on solution but denies to put down phone number to do so unlike with every other review owner gave down a phone number to call show they don’t handle negative news properly.
The staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. The food is very good. The overall atmosphere is pleasant.
