If you care about your loved one, look elsewhere. My mother was a resident for 3 years in Assisted Living. The level of care dropped significantly until she left in April 2024. They also took a full month’s rent from her for her final rent payment, though she only resided there for a week. They’ve been deceptive and not helpful in trying to recover that money.
Worst place you could place a loved one! Bathroom constantly flooded with sewage in relative's room. From the toilet all the way to the kitchen!! Filthy sewage!!! A/C went out in the entire fourth floor!! All those elderly people stuck in that heat!! Had to call the police on the administrators more than once. And they get new staff every other month because no one wants to work here. If you care about your loved ones, run far from this nursing home.
I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out Friendship village with my father. The staff was friendly and said hello and smiled in the hallway. The place was clean and very homey. They let us stay for lunch and I have to say the food was really good. Travis helped explain the Medicare process and was super informative. So far Friendship Village is at the top of our list.
I Love Friendship Village and I intend to live here the rest of my life. The food is just wonderful! Miguel Elias’ , the head of dining services, and his staff are truly great. I am especially grateful for Brent Meyers, marketing director, who is working so well and so hard to help us in every way. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I thank God for the inclusive community I find here. The activities are the best in the Dayton area!I expect peace and joy and hope at Friendship Village until I die.
