My grandfather is a new citizen in the Friend's Home community. I say community because it does not feel like a nursing home, there is no Hall 1 or Hall B- they are labeled as streets and the room numbers their address. To me, this lends so much more dignity and sense of home; which being a Quaker based facility does not surprise me at all. Their Dining Services are fabulous. Shae was friendly and as a chef at a well reputed resort I was impressed by their Thanksgiving feast offerings. Hopefully grandpa will come live at home again soon;yet in the interim they truly make you feel at home.
It has the right name, Friends Home. The atmosphere is cordial and friendly with no pretense. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.
Have had a number of relatives live at Friends Homes. They were all well taken care of, felt safe and were valued as members of the community. The Friends Home is in my future, as well.
Beautiful place to live.
