I wish I wasn’t as disappointed in this place as I am because a few of the nurses were great. Place isn’t adequately staffed for the amount of care that the patients require. There wasn’t any attention to detail. They would always never send her blood pressure medications for dialysis until the very last couple of times. Never gave her calcium medication with her meals which is helps absorb phosphorus from the food. They gave it to her with her other medications long before her meals so it wouldn’t do anything. My mom came to several of her dialysis appointments soiled . It was hard to communicate to most people that worked there. No one seemed to know what’s going on most times, especially some administrative staff who seemed cold and lacked compassion.

I hesitated to bring my mom here for rehab based on the reviews I saw, but decided to try it. I am so glad I did, that staff is super sweet and helpful. The food is whatever, but it's what you would expect from this type of place, it's definitely outdated inside but functional
My father has recently been admitted into this facility. Been here a couple days. He has been left in his own filth for hours and he is unwashed after he just had major surgery!! They have trashed his room and do not answer the phone. I will be contacting the facility and his doctor asap!!! If need be an attorney asap! I live in another state as does 90% of my father’s family. I will be making the necessary decisions to get him placed with me since this place is an utter disaster. I am very concerned for his safety and health!!
The residents have really become like family to me. Just know that they always come first, and most of the evening staff who work there strive to provide the highest quality care. To really make sure that your loved ones are safe, comfortable and happy. Because that is what they deserve.
I see a lot of negative reviews about this place, and the only thing I can agree with is the bad food, lack of maintenance and constant short staffing. But this is a nursing home that's covered by tax payer money, not a FIVE star hotel with a beach. There are more residents there than there are staff, and the staff don't get paid well for the abuse they take. So please go easy on them when you are frustrated with this place, because 85% of the residents here are aggressive, entitled and abusive. If you are unhappy with your loved one being there then take them home and do it yourself. And to the family members who linger for hours just so they can find a reason to sue. You need to just stop it! If you really believed they shouldn't be there, then take them home.
