I’ve been living here for over five months, and I can honestly say it’s been a wonderful experience. The community is beautiful and the environment is both inviting and well-maintained. The food is exceptional, and I always look forward to each meal. The staff truly makes this place stand out. My medication technician, Margarita, is not only friendly and professional but also ensures that I receive my medication on time every day. Additionally, caregiver Calica goes above and beyond by keeping my clothes clean and handling the trash, making daily life that much easier. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone looking for a caring and supportive community to consider moving in.

I have lived at Foiuntainwood at Lake Houston since June 2021 and recently relocated out of the state for personal reasons. Had my situation not changed, I would continue to be a resident there. I arrived with my wife, who needed to be in their memory care unit, now called Oasis. After she passed I remained because of the feeling of "home" that I had developed. Fountainwood is a wonderful place to settle and live. During the almost 4 years I've been there, the residents have been welcoming and inclusive. From the smile, and I want to help you attitude of Ana, the concierge, to all the staff ready to support me when needed, Fountainwood is the place you want to be. Guided by the confident direction of Victor, the Executive Director, and Cathy, the Business Director, I always had the feeling that I'd made the right choice. In the Pelican Restaurant, Chris, the Director of Culinary Services, Executive Chef Carlos, and Hostess Celeste provide wonderfully delicious, prepared in house meals three times a day. I found no reason to venture out to eat unless invited by a family member. Engagement Director Latisha has done and is doing a great job of looking after the activity programs at Fountainwood. I loved the weekly entertainment of the "Listening Lounge" and Happy Hour, both with live entertainment. Strength and balance activities like Yoga, Tai Chi, and Chair Zumba are great fitness activities and participating in them is wonderful. It's something I really enjoyed and had never done until moving to Fountainwood. Another point is the great support from the Facilities Director, Joe. When I was settling in my apartment, he and his team were available to assist me. Hanging a picture or setting up my TV, just to name a few. I could go on and on: however, you get the picture. I really, sincerely loved and enjoyed my time at Fountainwood at Lake Houston and it was a very hard decision to leave.
So glad we found Fountainwood. Their vetting-process is exceptional! All of their employees/staff are so very caring, empathetic and professional. They go above and beyond for their residence and family members. Cathy as well as Victor and all the staff, too many to name are very special people. They always seem to make time to answer any questions or concerns, we may have which haven’t been many. I truly feel that all the people I mentioned especially the people behind the scenes i.e. maintenance staff , housekeeping, etc. are all exceptional people. I literally feel that they are our extended family! I am so blessed that we found Fountainwood. I would highly recommend this place Looking for a senior retirement home as well as assisted living.
My mother-in-law has been in Oasis Memory Care at Fountainwood for almost a year. Diego Diaz, the director of Oasis, is AMAZING. He is always there to help with any situation. We looked at other facilities and have stayed at Fountainwood because of Diego. Because of his compassion and attentiveness, I feel my mother-in-law is in good hands.
The facilities at Fountainwood are top-notch, providing residents with comfortable and luxurious living spaces. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that all residents are well taken care of and have everything they need. In Fountainwood, you will feel at home because of its warm and welcoming atmosphere.
