My husband and I moved back to Long Island after living over twenty years in Florida. After living over a few hurricanes the last one Ivan said it was time to go home. My daughters went searching for us after giving them what I wanted and hoped for. Well they found Fountaingate Gardens. Well it is everything that was advertised, from the apartments, the service, and all the staff are like good friends and family .We have met so many residents during dining , playing games, exercise and just friendly conversation. Love that I can cook and invite friends and family over. It was the best move we made, and when it snows we don't have to shovel!

My husband and I have been living at Fountaingate Gardens for almost 3 years and we have no second thoughts. When we had medical emergencies the staff was immediately attentive. Administration and staff go out of their way to make certain that any issue is addressed promptly and courteously. Best move we ever made.
I have been living at Fountaingate Gardens for over two and a half years. Moving here from Queens was a good choice. The staff is warm and helpful, there are lots of activities to participate in if you so choose, and there is a certain level of security knowing that your needs will be taken care of. I am happy to recommend Fountaingate Gardens to anyone who is considering a continuous care retirement community.
My husband and I have been living at Fountaingate Gardens since the community opened ~ almost 3 years now. When we reserved our apartment several years before the community was built, we were hoping for a vibrant community with social, cultural, and educational offerings. It is more than we dreamed it would be! We gather in the clubhouse with neighbors who have become like family. The administration and the staff are superb; from the dining staff to the maintenance team, housekeeping to life enhancement, and the soul of our community, the concierge team ~ all are there for us everyday, making for a wonderful, carefree lifestyle for all of us lucky enough to live here.
TOTAL SCAM THAT PREYS ON SENIORS Average at best. They are not very compassionate when a loved one who lived there has any health issue. My dad lived there and as soon as he had the first sign of any visible health issue they wanted to kick him out; never asked what was ailing him or how they could help (or even had him medically evaluated). They just assumed things were not right and jumped to attempting to kick him out. Now that dad has passed away it has taken them over 8 months to return his deposit to his estate (still no money and no answers as to status after multiple attempts to contact them). Unit was not lived in very long and is in a great location with a big terrace. They apparently have a waiting list to get in but cannot fill this unit (or so they say). You forfeit 20%-50% of your deposit for no well explained reason and as my experience shows you may not ever get it back (might have to wind up bringing legal action). Seems like a Ponzi scheme
