Unfortunately only one star. The untrained (auxiliary) staff do their best within the scope of their professional and linguistic possibilities. Skilled personnel are very often only employed through (temporary) agencies and are therefore not employed for a particularly long time. A constant change of staff makes it practically impossible for residents to get used to it. The management level simply cannot manage to retain the appropriate staff (I'm not surprised if you sometimes notice how they treat each other). The handover only seems to work to a limited extent, as the staff on site often gives different information. Structured processes in care cannot be identified. Proactive communication (e.g. about acute care or health status) practically does not take place. And if so, it is extremely poor and superficial. Commercially, however, it is excellently organized when it comes to communicating price increases and (smallest) errors in payment settlements. Of course, the state of care in Germany is a catastrophe, the staff urgently needs to be paid better and the care ratio needs to be significantly increased. Here in Flersheim, however, the deficit lies in the management and this inevitably results in deficits in supply. If you decide to go to Flersheim, be sure to try to arrange something like a trial period.

Unfortunately, our first good impression, created by the friendly staff, didn't last long. Due to the rapid deterioration of my father's condition and the resulting greater need for care, the rates were increased significantly again. The staff seemed overwhelmed and my mother's concerns (the formation of pressure sores) were not taken seriously. It's just dry skin. Now he has changed the pen and his condition (wound healing but also psychological) is even improving. Still 2 stars because the nursing staff, although overwhelmed, treat the residents lovingly, patiently and respectfully. Thank you very much for that.
We received excellent care even before moving in. Not only the residents, but also their families are well looked after here. Questions can be asked at any time. Communication with the facility is excellent. The care is provided with compassion, and we have a good sense of security for the well-being of our loved ones.
