I've visited a family member here quite a few times, walked through the halls and sat in the cafeteria. Each and every time, down every hall and in the dining hall, I was greeted, offered directions, asked if I needed help or a place to sit. There were staff everywhere and I was most impressed about how the staff interacted with their clients. They treated the residents like family, joked with them, helped them along, and offered extra servings of their fave sides! Recently, I left a message for the Administrator and he called me back and kindly took time to answer all of my questions. I've spoken to other assistants and they were always willing to help in any way they can!!! KUDOS FLANNERY! And thank you for all you continue to do for our loved one!🥹😍

Well I was told I was on drugs and husband was able to come back on there properly to visit me because I wouldn't take a blood test. I loved there and they tried several times to our to me why they wanted to take my blood, at 3:30am. And again at 5 am. I asked why taking my blood the blood takers didn't know why. I had to leave that place after they broke into my private drawer when I was out at a movie. 5 other residents said the workers was stealing jewelry from them and they also said they got busted but flannery oaks GUEST HOUSE covered it up! I got very bad care there after there own worker went inside after smoking pot in the parking lot, and we got blamed!
Do not under any circumstances bring your any of your loved ones here. My sister-in-law was brought here for rehab. She had a massive stroke a few weeks before, and he is diabetic. The second day there her daughter walked in the room, only to find her mother covered in feces and her blood sugar was over 700 when they checked her at the ER at our Lady of the Lake hospital. This place needs to be shut down. Our family is furious!
Flannery Oaks Guest House is one of the best facilities in Baton Rouge ! The premises from the outside is beautiful. The entrance is inviting along with the inside. Brand new top to bottom , smells very nice . The residents their to be so happy and comfortable. They have a very good staff from admissions to environmental services, the food is excellent. The whole staff enjoys working there. Giving it a family/team players that all work together. I've been to quite a few other facilities with my grandparents and only wish we could have brought them to Flannery Oaks in their time of need.
Everyone from the aides to the top level of staff seemed to have my mother’s best interest in mind. Only one issue came up and Chris, the administrator, handled it immediately. 10/10 would recommend! Great staff, good social programs and great food!
