WARNNING! This place is disgusting I wouldn't send my pets there. My mom is there and the care is just not there, they told me they can give her someone else's medicine to her till hers gets ordered I said no they gave her tylenol to shut her up and told her it was a codeine pain pill. They share toilet with 4 people, place smells like pea and feces, found all bloody yuck all in toilet and on the seats, they are not changing her after soiling herself for hrs and hrs, the blankets have blood stains, no bed rails on beds, people are falling out of bed, the food is gross don't think my dogs would eat it. They have all new people working there and no one knows anything. Was told they treat the employee so unfairly with little pay. The place needs to be gutted and update to code. I have no choice but to leave her there at the moment. My heart is broken 💔 😢 please don't send your love ones to this place it is by far a 5 star place. More like 1 or less. Please pray for them all to get out.

My father was THERE for @6yrs. It ALL BEGAN with being "railroaded" by a social worker from Flagler Hospital in STA after a Hospital stay. THIS is a protocol to automatically $LAM MEDICARE (ea$y $$$ to bilk the system. Whether needed or NOT in many instances.) I had already HAD a wonderful place for him to go, but THEY PROFUSELY intervened that HE NEEDED "REHAB". The rehab SIDE of the facility is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE than the nursing home experience. PLEASE NOTE !!!!! What was especially concerning was that somehow suddenly got him BLACKLISTED & the wonderful placement became NOT an "option" & frantically I searched for OTHER options to send off his records because he HAD MANY OTHER options PRIOR to his admission to FH&R !!! My father had an EXCEPTIONAL Long-term Healthcare policy that MOST anywhere would be happy to honor. (Upwards of WELL OVER $12K+ a month!!) Sadly, my Dad was left BLIND w/near parallysis during a life-changing FALL/accident out of state that resulted in an difficult/exhaustive effort LEGALLY to retrieve him HERE in florida to be WITH famiy. During my father's last months there, he was very unhappy & said that staff told him that they wanted to kick him out & for him to Leave. Yet, on my wkly visits they said or pretended differently. My father was always friendly & amicable for All Those other years elsewhere at previous facilities & even THERE. SADLY....HE PASSED AWAY OVER THE XMAS HOLIDAY'S, with yet ANOTHER intestinal issue. Rushed to the ER. Vomiting on his own feces due to yet another blockage. Had to have an emergency COLON removal. Colostomy bag as a reult. After a few days in ICU he was transfered to HOSPICE....WHERE HE DIED. They have since.... 3 MONTHS LATER.....NOT EVEN SO MUCH AS EVEN CALLED..... NOT A CONDOLENCE OR even so much asked IF we even wanted to pick up any of his belongings. He told me that they wanted him OUT, were being cruel to him/even withholding meals only a few wks before he died. Guess they GOT what they wanted. From OVER 6 YRS EXPERIENCE/ hindsight, PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE for your loved one !!! 💔 😭💔
Physical Therapists were good, but sadly the rest of our experience was awful. Rooms are old and hot and tiny and nothing like website. Food was cold and substandard. Our mom arrived stable, and then died a week later in their care. I regret having her here more than anything.
My good buddy is in here. They are treating him pretty well. He was totally immobile due to a car accident. His spirits are very high in his recovery, he has come so far I'm very thankful towards all the staff that has worked so hard in making his stay hopeful.
The facility was very clean/ friendly faces 😁 The staff was working like a team. The residents looked satisfied. Staff was very helpful. Thank you
