I moved to Five Star two months ago as I’m now widowed, childless and somewhat disabled. I moved here to feel safe and make friends as most of my close Reno friends are gone. I’ve found all of my expectations were real, I feel very secure, everyone is very friendly and the staff extremely helpful no matter what the request. I have yet to participate in any of the offered activities because I recently had surgery, but look forward to joining in as soon as I’m able. I think my choice of Five Star Premier was a wise one.

I have had many clients choose 5 Star Premiere Residence as their home, both independent and assisted living. I follow up with all my clients after their move and they have all expressed how pleased they are. The staff are caring and listen to their needs. They like the building itself and the remodeled apartments. My own experience with Jerry and Lisa has been nothing short of exceptional. They both are present and go the extra mile to make the community truly feel like a community for their residents. It is home.
It has been our pleasure over the last 18 months to work with the staff at 5 Star. They are attentive to providing excellent care to their residents and go the extra mile in educating staff to meet that expectation of excellence. Nicole and Angie are making a great team, as well as, building and retaining an A+ group of providers. When walking through the facility, I see lots of smiles on residents’ faces and on the staff. That means something.
Five Star senior living is a very beautiful and pleasant community. All staff from the receptionist every time I walk in the the community I feel very welcomed. The caregivers are very hard workers as well as Jerry very friendly and all the knowledge he has on five star. Gave me a tour and I'm still processing all the fascinating information Jerry shared . I work for a hospice agency and always will recommend Five Star to families when looking for placement for their loved ones.
Five Star lives up to its name. I visited five different senior residences in my quest to help my parents find a safe, clean, caring environment as my dad was having some major health challenges that were difficult for my mother to manage. Jerry at Five Star bent over backwards to help me find a residence option for my parents in a very short time. My parents love the dining room, the cafe, the physical therapy available on site, and the workout room. I’ve eaten with them several times in the dining room and have been impressed with the menu choices, the portions, and the courteous staff. My parents have also commented to me about how friendly all of the residents and staff are. If you’re in the hunt for a comfortable and welcoming residence for a friend or family member, or for yourself, Five Star should be at the top of your list. I looked at many. This felt like “home.”
