The Companion Care person that was looking after my cousin was very sweet and patient and took the time to pay attention to her and tend to her needs. We've had a very positive experience with FirstLight Home Care over our initial 6 weeks. The owners are authentic caring people, putting their clients first & foremost. Our caregiver Lizette, who is looking after our 94 year old mother 40 hours weekly, is better than I could have ever imagined. She has 17 years experience of caring for people from all types of background, obviously learning what works best for most along the way!

I needed immediate at home care for my 93 year old aunt who lives 45 minutes away from me. At the time, her caregiver had to leave unexpectedly for health reasons. I reached out to FirstLight Home Care of Piscattaway and Omar was a source of comfort immediately. He was able to secure someone to come that evening so that my aunt would have someone with her at all times. Now, several weeks have passed and the caregiver has been a wonderful support to my aunt, providing companionship, every day help getting herself together, preparing meals, getting her to appointments, and so on! I am so grateful that he came to our rescue, and my aunt can stay at home, rather than a nursing facility! Thanks, Omar!😀❤🙏🙏
