Wonderful people. Erin was wonderful to work with. Beautiful and warm atmosphere inside. Grounds outside were kept up and very nice. Definitely would advise any senior to come live here. Nice setup and a lot to do and they offer a lot.

Being in the healthcare field I have been very invested over the years with making sure my mother is happy and safe as her dementia has worsened her ability to care for herself. I have felt that her move into the memory care unit at the Village at Keizer Ridge was the best decision I could have made, even though I was initially nervous about the change and how she would acclimate. I have been so impressed with the care she receives there on a daily basis by all the staff. They run a tight ship and keep all residents entertained, looking their best and the unit itself organized and clean. I see how committed each staff person is to taking care of the residents as though they were extended family. The staff are lighthearted, respectful and professional with not only my mother and myself but in their interactions that I have witnessed with others when I visit. My mother acclimated quickly and this was a huge relief for me. On the days I am not able to visit, I communicate with my mother by video on her Grandpad and I can see how well kept she is and most importantly, how happy she is. Forever grateful for the awesome care that all the staff provide.
My mom has lived here about 1.5yrs now. The onboarding process was rough learning for both of us but now I’ve got the hang of things, know who to locate, where they are, and how to reach them. The turnover doesn’t seem that bad. Some of my very favorite staff from the dining room to the caregivers to the maintenance pro to the med techs to the gardeners to the receptionists are still there, and a lot of the new people they bring on are also very good choices in employees. Mom is well cared for, everyone seems to know what the latest is with their residents, and there is plenty to do there. I always feel like it’s a cruise ship and my husband and I have both said “we’d love it there!”. The furnishings and decor are very modern and cozy, the rooms are nicely appointed and roomy bathrooms, efficient kitchen space. I recommend the place to everyone.
In words I can’t express how difficult the last year was for my mom until I found VKR memory care. My mom needed a place where she could be in her own mind and VKR memory care has allowed her to be that person. She is independent, happy, active, and safe, with a compassionate staff caring for her. The staff work hard to make sure the needs of my mom and I have seen they done the same with other residents to make sure their needs are met. Memory care staff tailor services to meet the unique physical, social, and emotional needs of my mom which makes her happy. They have a very responsive group of caregivers who get to know each person living in memory care, plus the family members, and attend to their daily needs. I couldn’t ask for a more passionate group of individuals in memory care to take care of my mom. My mom means the world to me and knowing she is safe, happy, and cared for means a lot. Thank you 😊
The Village @ Keizer Ridge is an exceptional location for your loved ones that need a little care! The Memory Care section is really exceptional and the staff really care about the residents! Both my parents loved the staff though our Mother passed just short of 92 very peacefully our Father is still in their extremely talented hands at almost 95.
