Please do not take your loved one to this place, the care is terrible. My Mom had to go there for two days in February after a hospital stay for congestive heart failure for rehab. I went back the next morning and she was having trouble breathing and did not fell well or look good. I went and got her nurse and told her we need to call 911. She came down to look at my Mom and said she is not an emergency I will call transport. She then waited a half hour before she called and it took them a half hour more to get there. I have taken care of my Mom the last twelve years I know when she is in trouble. When she got to the hospital her blood pressure was 74/50 she was critical, she ended up being in the hospital for 15 days. This nurse just hasten the death of my Mom, who did end up passing away because of this.

I recently underwent surgery on my foot, and was in the care of Fenton Healthcare afterwards. The staff were very friendly and were very attentive and accommodating. The only issue I did have was that a couple of clothing items of mine were not returned because they were sent to the laundry before they could be labled, and repeated requests to locate them myself were never granted. So I basically forfeited the items, not really that big of a deal but it was my personal property. Other than that I was comfortable and overall satisfied with my after care experience at Fenton Healthcare...
The staff was friendly and helpful. I hope I never need to, though I wouldn't be upset if I had to return for therapy in the future.
Mom loved everybody she worked with and the staff was especially kind and supportive. I know that’s the reason her health & strength returned so quickly! Thank you.
I am writing to express my grave concerns regarding the care my mother received at Fenton Healthcare during her two-year residency. My mother, who suffered from Alzheimer's and stage 4 kidney disease requiring dialysis, endured significant neglect, which I believe contributed to her passing. The staff at Fenton Healthcare exhibited a consistent lack of compassion and professionalism. My mother was often left to soil herself, with staff instructing her to "go in her pants" instead of providing assistance to the toilet. This disregard for her dignity and basic needs was unacceptable. The therapy department frequently reported that she was refusing to cooperate, despite her Alzheimer’s, fear, and confusion. This led to a rapid decline in her mobility, resulting in frequent falls due to being left unattended in her room. My mother’s nutritional needs were also neglected. Despite being unable to feed herself independently, staff had to be reminded to assist her with meals. She was regularly found in soiled clothing, and when I would bring her home on weekends, she often had feces on her clothing, under her nails, and on her slippers. Additionally, nearly all of her clothing went missing during her stay. The pervasive smell of marijuana in the parking lot and the sight of staff smoking in their cars were further indicators of the unprofessional environment. Despite numerous complaints to leadership, the issues persisted. Calls to the facility were often unanswered or abruptly disconnected. Just before I was able to transfer her to another facility, my mother fell ill, and I was not informed until days later. She was sent to dialysis in a slumped-over and minimally responsive state, with staff claiming she was just tired. Dialysis promptly sent her to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a serious infection and severe skin breakdown from prolonged exposure to urine and feces. Tragically, she never recovered and passed away three months later in a much more reputable facility in Grand Blanc. As a registered nurse and former director of nursing with dual master's degrees nursing and health administration and currently completing my doctorate in health administration, I have a thorough understanding of what constitutes quality clinical care. Fenton Healthcare failed to meet even the most basic standards of care, and their neglectful practices should be thoroughly investigated to prevent further harm to other residents.
