My Dad was living alone, becoming more forgetful and not taking care of himself. He ended up in the Hospital, and my brother, sister, and I decided that we needed to make other arrangements for Dad. We decided on assisted living with memory care. After talking with several places and visiting 4, we chose Farrington Court. Lindsay and the rest of the staff made Dad's transition smoother than I ever expected possible. Dad is happy, he engages with staff and other residents, and we know that he is safe and well cared for. Lindsay and staff have also been very supportive of the rest of the family, keeping us informed about how Dad is doing and giving advice on how we can deal with Dad's memory issues. We should have made this move sooner. I strongly recommend Farrington Court to anyone who has a family member who needs more support than family members can provide.

I can not tell you how relieved our family is to have a place like Farrington Court senior living for our mother who is turning 89. She now needs some assisted living but still feeling her independence. When we decided to check out Farrington Court, that’s when we met Lindsay, Andrew, and Dominique. We knew then we were in the right place and in great hands. Everyone has made us feel special and have been so reassuring to help settle our fears and anxiety for the overwhelming change to come for our mom. Our family have been residence here in Kent since 1957. I have always heard good things about Farrington Court, but when we started moving her in we found many residents we know, and it felt like we were back in our old town of Kent again. Lots of Kent Residents and many others it’s great! All the residents have been so welcoming and friendly it’s truly amazing. I can’t say enough to thank the staff and residents for helping us make a smooth transition to our moms new home and neighbors. AND May I add the food here is wonderful. I want to thank Grant Harrington for sharing with us and making mom feel special. Your menus are great!! So if anyone is looking for a assisted senior living place for your mom dad or relative, I highly recommend Farrington Court Senior living. It’s been such a blessing!! And again I want to thank Lindsay, Andrew, Dominique for being a lot of fun, caring, and so accommodating. We are looking forward to our moms new adventure in her new home at Farrington Court Senior Living in Kent!
The Farrington team, especially Andrew and Lindsey the Family advisors, is very welcoming and helpful, and they genuinely seem to care for the residents. Andrew and Lindsey took time to understand our family's needs and helped us efficiently navigate the options available. Their knowledge and compassion have been invaluable, making us feel supported every step of the way. My mother has recently moved in, and so far, every interaction has been positive. The team (nursing, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, reception, etc) is always willing to answer questions and provide assistance, making sure my mom feels comfortable and well taken care of.
The facility was amazing. Staff was wonderful. :)They hosted our monthly meeting today 5-11-21 and they were amazing. The chef made these amazing sandwiches, desserts, potato salad and everything was from scratch. EVEN THE BREAD. We got a tour of the facility and they have great activities through out the day and on the daily. They also have remodeled the building on the inside recently and it looks amazing. THANK YOU AGAIN for hosting our company (CONCIERGE CARE ADVISORS) and we appreciate you so much ! Great hospitality.
My mom had been living in her home for over 50 years and was very resistant to moving anywhere else. We visited several communities and I chose Farrington Court for many reasons. First, the folks living there were friendly and said Hi to both of us during the initial tour. Secondly, the apartments were clean and spacious. Last but not least, the staff there was very friendly and accommodating. We worked with Lindsay Oliver during my initial tour, mom’s tour, and throughout the process. She has been wonderful! During my initial call, Lindsay was able to give me immediate information and a tour, all on the same day. We were then able to schedule a tour for Mom a few days later. Lindsay bonded with Mom during the visit and even came to visit her at her home (with lunch) to continue to help ease her concerns. She promised that Farrington would be a good place for her. Despite mom’s resistance to change, Lindsay (and I) continued to work on mom. About a month later, after the initial visits, Mom decided she would give Farrington a try. The move-in process was smooth and Mom has now been there for 2 months. In these 2 months, Mom has completely changed from being a sad and lonely 89-year-old, to someone that looks forward to each day. Farrington has many daily activities that mom thoroughly enjoys including day trips to various locations, bingo, movie nights, etc. I have been visiting Mom almost daily and every single time she’s more concerned about the daily activities than sitting and chatting with me ha. So I’m fine with that! Long story short, mom feels very secure at night, loves the activities during the day and enjoys all of the new friends she is now surrounded with. I cannot thank Lindsay and the staff at Farrington Court for helping Mom with this great transition and new home!
