Exceptional liaisons who go above and beyond to ensure a safe and smooth transition from hospital to facility. Falls Village is one of THE best skilled facilities that I have ever been to. The cleanliness and kindness of their staff speaks volumes to their treatment of their patients. My sister-in-law is in great hands and I appreciate how the techs assist her with her daily needs!!!

As my father slipped deeper into his dementia, it was clear staying at home was no longer viable. Falls Village took excellent care of him, and the rest of us, as well. What was a new and trying experience for us, at a sad and stressful time, the staff handled calmly and professionally, giving us space to deal with our anger, frustration and grief. I had my Dad for 12 days shy of 59 years, and treasure every moment of it, even when he was mad at me (like the first time I came home from a paying bar gig with my band-at 3AM on a school night my sophomore year of high school). Thank you, Falls Village, for taking care of my Dad when I couldn’t, and doing it well.
My sister stayed at Falls Village for approx. 3 1/2 weeks in January of this year. The care I witnessed was considerably less than helpful or caring or professional. She was recovering from a bout of rhabdomyolysis and was unable to move. The staff would throw wet wipes at her and tell her to clean herself up when she soiled her depends. During her stay she received one pt/ot therapy per day (except none on weekends.) So she simply did not progress at all and this was supposed to be a 5 star rehab unit. They threatened to send her to the third (long term care) if she wouldn’t take care of herself. There were a handful of kind nurses and aides, but most were downright mean. I was appalled at the treatment she received as I am a retired RN and I know how patients should be treated. I have to say that Lydia and Katherine were the worst but there was one nurse that came on for night shift (can’t remember her name) that came into my sister’s room at the start of the shift and said “don’t bother me or expect me to come in your room during the night because I have work to do at the nurses desk”. And true to her word, she did NOT come into my sister’s room at all during her shift even though my sister put on has call light several times. Rhabdomyolysis is an extremely painful disease yet they did not treat her pain except for an occasional Tylenol. When she was discharged I brought her to my home to recover. She’s been home for 2 weeks and it is truly amazing how much she has improved since she’s been home. The abuse at Falls Village that I mentioned was just the tip of the iceberg. There were other, more serious abuses that I don’t want to mention in this forum. I know that if I hadn’t taken her out of your nursing home, she most likely would have succumbed to her disease and died. Thank God that I got her out of there!
Very unprofessional false advertising about their bonuses. You will not receive your sign on bonus. They make up rules as they go. You will not receive a bonus if you pick up on your off days. There are not any supplemental pay that they state on indeed. There rules only apply to certain people. Aides have assigned halls at this facility. You will only be trained on one hall. They act like you can’t take a break because their nurses to lazy to answer a call light. No teamwork no discipline. It’s not a bad place it’s just the people who’s running it. This is a behavioral facility and trait patients you don’t make extra pay for that either. They over work you for little pay. You will have a whole hall to yourself with 20 something residents and 16 check and changes and nobody will chime in and help you.
Hands down the cleanest and nicest rehab / long term facility I have ever been. The staff is amazing and the administrator is on her game. Thank you so much for taking great care of my wife’s grandfather!!
