I mentioned to the social worker that we would rather discuss any problems rather than post something negative. A team from administration was supposed to contact us, but it has been over 3 months without hearing from them so we will post our experiences. Some of the positives would be that the nursing home always smelled clean, and that some of the staff appeared competent and caring including the social worker Lauren. Negatives were- Mom was not given the medications for pain that she was used to even though we repeatedly asked the nurses about this. They apparently repeatedly asked the nurse practitioner to change the orders for stronger meds. Because this was not done, she could not tolerate physical therapy and became bedridden. She developed blurriness in one eye which persisted. We were never told what caused this, and it was apparently not listed on her chart. Response time of answering call bells was poor. The food was cold and not good. I would not recommend this facility.

Every single 5 star review is either written by someone who admits they're staff, or worded in a way that makes it clear that it was written by someone instructed on important talking points. Please, take into account the actual reviews from actual patients. They're all 3 stars and below. And if you want to know what it's really like there, go volunteer for a day and read to some residents. You'll get a much more accurate idea if they don't know you're looking to send someone there. It's not just "understaffed." It's poorly staffed, they just hire anybody who applies to keep their ratio at state minimums. Please, your loved ones deserve SO much more, and their lives depend on it.
Julie at the front desk is phenomenal! Always so sweet and so kind to everyone! She is a wonderful receptionist! :)
Scott and Carol in therapy are the best. They provided the absolute best therapy I could have gotten. MOST nurses and aides are helpful and caring. The big problem is they are severely understaffed. It takes anywhere from 1 to 2 hours for your call light to be answered. Not a place for anyone not mobile who relies on help.
My mom has been a resident at Falling Water Healthcare Center for the past 5 months and has been receiving exceptional care! I talk to her daily, and she shares wonderful stories about her conversations with the staff. She emphasizes how respectful everyone is, from the nursing director to the maintenance techs. The aides and nurses are incredibly kind and compassionate, making her feel truly at home. In fact, she has expressed that she doesn't want to leave! The positive impact on her well-being is evident – my husband recently commented that he hadn't seen her smile this much in years. I am immensely grateful to know that she is loved and well taken care of at Falling Water Healthcare Center. A big thank you to everyone there!
