I was there for business, but when it comes time to retire and give up living on my own, this would be a nice place to go. The staff are very kind and friendly, the facilities have lots of recreational options. Large open common areas to mingle and play with friends. The food area is more like a nice restaurant than a cafeteria. The place is CLEAN and visually appealing.

We needed to find a place where our Mom would be cared for after a hospital stay where it became clear she can't live by herself anymore. We moved her into an assisted living apartment the beginning of September this year and with her own furniture, personal items and pictures on the walls. She's helped with all her needs. And they have amazing and delicious food. She has enjoyed the activities such as musical performances, movie night and a ride to see the fall colors. We have enjoyed many wonderful meals shared together in their dining room, which is more like a restaurant. We had thanksgiving dinner catered to our family at Fairwinds and it was so good! One of the best thanksgiving dinners and we didn't have to cook or clean. It made it possible for all of us to be there with our mother.
Incredible facility with a well trained staff. The staff is very attentive and friendly. My mom talks daily about how friendly and well taken care of she is. Mom also says the food is delicious and the servers are so great. The facility always smells good, is clean and very well maintained. The apartments look brand new as does the entire facility. I highly recommend Fairwinds for assisted living and retirement living too.
My parents have been residents here for a year. The care they have received has been top notch. The staff is amazing-friendly, compassionate and they go the extra mile. The dining staff knows the residents by name and they have taken the time to get to know what my parents like to eat and drink. Communication between residents, staff and family is outstanding! When I grow up, I want to live at Fairwinds!
This review is more about an amazing employee. I am hoping her boss see's this because she deserves to be told how great she is. However I can't remember her name. On April 13th my daughters dance school performed here for the residents. Around 6PM. This employee was working the front desk. Super cute young girl. Dark hair. Beautiful smile. We arrived way early by accident. We were greeted with a big smile when we came in. Even offered water and drinks. She talked to us and was so nice. I watched her interact with the residents. I could just tell that she cared so much about all of them. So I went up to her to compliment her on her professionalism and kindness. I told her what a great job she was doing and she said to me. "My job isn't hard", Which I thought was so cute because she is not wrong, however her positivity and work ethic are hard to come by. So hopefully you can just see who was working that day and let her know how appreciated she is. Its refreshing to see people like her. Employees like that are what this world needs. It made my whole day to meet her. So good job on that hire!
