I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Fairmont Age Care; it has truly been a blessing for my family. After searching numerous homes to find the best care for my mother, I was immediately drawn to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Fairmont. On my first visit, I was struck by the vibrant community life. Residents were enjoying the garden, participating in exercise activities, and basking in the sunshine. Visitors strolled about freely, creating a lively and positive environment. This stood in stark contrast to other facilities I had seen, where empty corridors and closed doors were the norm. For two years, my mother called Fairmont her home. During this time, your staff became her second family. The level of care and attention she received was truly exceptional, and for that, I cannot thank you enough. Your dedication to creating a nurturing and engaging environment for seniors is commendable. The service you provide is genuinely second to none, and I am deeply grateful for everything you've done for my mother and our family. My mother Marion resided at Fairmont Aged Care Bexley for 21 months. My mother was a very difficult resident at times and the staff would be challenged regularly but o erall they managed her well. I am a retired aged care RN/Educator so I know how difficult "our" aged care system is and can be. Fairmont staff from the top to every staff member give their all for the residen5s care and I thank them for the efforts. Cheers
Our family’s experience with Fairmont has been one of partnership in caring for my father. We have found the staff to be the homes asset, this includes the manager all the way to the cleaning personnel, and they are all friendly and welcoming. We have ongoing communication with the manager and the staff to address all my father’s needs, and as the needs change, we have felt confident to speak with the staff and work towards solutions. My father has been at Fairmont for a number of years and we have the peace of mind that he is being cared for as an individual with his own culture. We think of Fairmont as the hidden gem of nursing homes, highly recommended if you want personalized care.
Fairmont Beautiful at first glance on photos and brochures , However be warned Nicholas Maksymow the “Managing Director” is completely detached from families in need .! Zero empathy , Zero Help , lacks common courtesy poor communication and cold . Such a shame that Fairmont boasts so much charm and warmth from the outside however it is Cold and and gloomy inside . Plenty of welcoming, warm nursing homes managed by professional staff that show care and comfort to families in need .!
I highly recommend this place to anyone who looks for a home-style aged care facility. I strongly believe that my husband John was in the best place during the last few weeks of his life. The carers, nurses, doctors and managerial staff members were exceptional and provided John with the best compassionate and professional care, especially during the generally difficult times brought by the pandemic situation. Their care meant the world to our family.
