My 80-year old husband was a patient in the Transtional Rehabilitation Center for almost 3 months. He received excellent, individualized care for his broken hip and femur. Because of mobility impairments and complicated medical issues, he required diligent nursing and CNA care and he received it from Fairfield's professional staff. The menu featured choice and variety, was well prepared, and tasty. The only complaint may have been the occasional too cool meal, which staff would reheat when possible. Of special note was the high quality of the rehab services available. While all of the therapists were well-trained and professional, Jerry and Cheri put heart and soul into my husband's recovery. His was a most difficult case and they motivated him to acquire the skills he will need to ultimately walk again with minimal assistance. No medical center can be perfect in all ways for all patients and their families, but for us Fairfield Village provided an excellent solution to a complicated health situation. The senior staff and managers were open, responsive, and worked hard to address any concerns we had.

My daughter just got fired from here because their scheduler belittled , yelled at and refused to let her go and get her diabetic supplies that she ran out of . They are understaffed, refuse to give lunches to employees and allow higher ups to degrade them . They promise sign on bonuses on indeed but never actually pay out and I will be turning them in ! I have seen multiple texts and have proof. . Other Cnas complain about helping residents and doing their job and they do not care . My daughter actually cared about the residents but when you’re treated badly how can you enjoy going to work ? They just want your money and they don’t care about residents.
I was here for a short stay after surgery. The People were wonderful. The food was good the physical therapist and occupational therapist were excellent and they made my stay very pleasant. I would highly recommend this great facility to anyone.
Absolutely horrible! DO NOT send a loved one here for post surgery rehabilitation! Sure their facility looks nice, but they don’t provide adequate care and rehabilitation for the patient. Physical therapy is nonexistent. They consider watching a patient brush their teeth as occupational therapy. Getting ahold of administrators is next to impossible. Fairfield Village Rehabilitation is a waste of money and demoralizing to the patient.
Overall averaged out rating is 3 stars. Breakdown of rating is as follows: Physical & Occupational therapy: 5 star rating. They are excellent. Attentuve & they really cared about your healing & safety. Great staff. Food: 2-3 star rating (bland, sometimes too far out instead of simple everyday meals. Most meals I hardly ever ate much of it. Breakfasts were good because it was standard everyday simple things. Had my kids bring me regular food a lot. Didn't go to eat a lot because didn't want to eat their food. Was worse than school lunches. Nurses: 3 stars rating. Day nurses were 4 star, but hardly ever saw early evening/night nurses. Didn't really know who my nurse was most of the time. Some were very attentive & made rounds & checked on you. CNAs: 2-3 stars. Many acted like you were putting them out by even pushing the call button for help (especially those in early evening/night). Others were very on the ball, but very few of them. Only on stayed in my room while I showered. And in the 21 days I was there, my sheets were only changed once a week. Not every time I took a shower. I would go there again just for the therapy staff, but I would take my own food (have fridge & microwave in room), ask for clean bedding more often, etc. I would suggest they get a nurse call PA system like the hospital has so that when you push call button, someone answers & asks what you need, then someone comes down to your room. The way it is now, you push call button, CNA/nurse come to your room & ask what you need, then (if not just need to go the restroom) they have to go back to nursing station to relay need, then CNA/nurse come back to your room with whatever you need.
