Rathausstraße 62, 65203 Wiesbaden, Germany
Our mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, has lived in the Friedheim House of the EVIM Katharinenstift for the past two and a half years. She received very loving and professional care and support here. Despite the nursing shortage, we found the interaction with our mother to be warm and comforting. The activity, entertainment, and exercise programs brought fun and variety to everyday life. The musical offerings such as singing and choir were also very beneficial for our mother. The contact between the staff and us, her relatives, was always characterized by friendliness and understanding. Having Stella's hair salon on site was very convenient. We also greatly appreciated the café, run by volunteers. The location of the Katharinenstift, directly on the palace grounds in Biebrich and close to the Rhine, offered the opportunity for many lovely walks and was therefore ideal for us. Ms. Diel's daughters would like to express their sincere thanks.

I work on a voluntary basis in various care facilities and have good comparisons. Also, my mother was there for 3 years. The Katharinenstift is a very lovingly run house with a colorful range of offers and very empathetic and competent nursing staff. Despite stress and staff shortages, always in a good mood and approachable at any time. The location is also great for walking, right next to the castle park and on Rathausstrasse with shops and one of the best ice cream parlors. There is also a very nice cafe in the Katharinenstift, which is always open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
My mother was on the Gibb ward. The staff generally made an effort, especially the male colleagues. Unfortunately, it's a shame how the staff are treated, and especially the ward management is very unprofessional.
A fantastic facility! Very caring and competent nursing staff. Excellent care and activity programs are also available for the elderly.
