An excellent senior community! Our father has lived here for two years. He is in the assisted living section. He has also spent time in EverTrue's short term rehab facility, aka "the Care Center", due to an illness. The Care Center was impressive. They had dad back on his feet in no time. Our father was previously in assisted living in another community in AZ - a mediocre facility. This new community, EverTrue Laclede Groves, is far exceeds where he lived before. AND, in our opinion, EverTrue Laclede Groves is one of the best among those we visited and evaluated in the St Louis area. The food is awesome, with a lot of variety (4 different dining areas AND an ice cream parlor!). The care teams are great! During holidays and weekends, when many of the regular staff are on vacation, the skill level drops a bit, but for the most part they do a good job. The facility and dad's room are kept spotlessly clean. The gardens and outdoor areas are beautiful and so peaceful. This is truly a top notch facility, Newsweek ratings are correct. Our family highly recommends EverTrue Laclede Groves.

My mom was on the waiting list for Independent living and moved just this summer. Jason East kept us informed on every aspect of her move and was so easy to work with. Just when you assume you'll feel overwhelmed, the staff at LG jumps in and is responsive, super friendly and understands that sometimes you have to ask the same question over again. The move was easy because of the staff helping with the actual move, the boxes, the technology the support! Now that my mom is settled she is the happiest we've seen her in a long time. She's meeting people and becoming more active. If you want it, it's there. Thanks to LG for being a wonderful community for our family!
To be fair my parents didn't move there. It's a nice place but a bit outdated with small rooms. We met with a representative and took a tour well over 2 years ago. I called a couple weeks ago for an update from Tom as they may have to go somewhere else and not even the respect of a returned call. Probably a waste of time if you want something in less than 3 years. I think there must be some shady politics going on as other places are much more accurate with their timeframes.
We have a family member in assisted living and another in LTC. We're pleased with assisted but unhappy with LTC. My primary concern is that there is no care plan to help maintain or build strength for my family member in LTC, and know that memory care patients are mixed in with those who have no memory issues and staff treats them the same. This is very discouraging to my family member. That family member has gone downhill.
Could not contact my wife’s stepmother all day. Called for a wellness check. They did two but she was not in the room. We went in person to do it ourselves and noticed items in the room she always has with her. Asked front desk and they said nothing unusual happened all day. Turned out she was taken by EMS to the hospital 14 hours prior. No notification of the family. No checking of any kind of log when we called. Only checked after we were there running around looking for her. A total fail!
