My father-in-law has lived at Evergreen Crossing for 5 years now. My mother will be moving in shortly and my wife and I had occasion to stay there for a short time. I can say without question that the people, facilities and organization at Evergreen Crossing for are second to none. It’s a great community of people that make everyone feel welcome. Love the breakfasts, salad bar and all the activities.

Our search for senior living came to an end when we met Mark at Evergreen Crossings. Mark gave us a tour, answered all of our questions and really simplified the transition from house living to senior apartment living. During the application process there were no hidden costs or surprises. The rental agreement was simple and straightforward. Mark was available as needed to answer questions and assist with resources as we worked through the process of moving in. Once in my parents and I went to an orientation to senior living with Haydee. She sat down and explained every aspect from meals to activities, the emergency medical fob, keyless entry and many other details. Nothing was missed. Every staff member we have encountered smiles and makes us feel welcome. The move in process was smooth, Ben, Amber and Brian were on hand to assist with the television set up, the keyless entry, advice on hanging pictures and assistance with any other questions. An added bonus is Yattie who does their house cleaning once a week. My parents are loving their new home and I am loving that they are in such a welcoming place and they are safe. The initial decision to move from their home after 47 years was NOT an easy one but I know it was the right one when my mom tells everyone "we love it here, I wish we did this two years ago." Thank you to all at Evergreen Crossings!!
I learned quickly that senior living is expensive, although Evergreen Crossing is month-to-month and all-inclusive. Three meals, electric, heat/AC, hot water, and cable are included. A cell phone bill is all she has to cover. Anyone entering the process of helping to locate a home for a parent knows the pressure of the process. In my case, it was for my mom, who was living out of state and wanted to be closer to family. Safe and happy were, of course, our priorities. After looking at 15 plus facilities in the Hartford area, Evergreen Crossing was our clear choice. Mark is your go-to guy for information—professional and informative. His patience and positivity made a world of difference. There was no high-pressure sales, and the logistics of moving my mother from Florida required planning only accomplished through his communication and attention to detail. Replying to phone calls and emails after work hours and on his days off was the norm. The facility and grounds are beautiful—modern, energetic, immaculate, and welcoming. Full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, all the amenities you could ask for, and the food is top shelf. The entire Evergreen Crossing community has been very friendly! She is loving it! I used to work for RLC Evergreen Crossings in South Windsor since 2021-2023, but I miss all my former co-workers, and I always check their pictures on their website and/or their Facebook page. I always screenshot the pictures to showcase in my scrapbook projects and journals as of 2024-present. I also liked the residents.
