I would not even give 1 star! My father was transferred here and was left to his own devices. It makes me ill thinking about his last afternoon and night. He did not make 24 hours and I was informed in a thoughtless way!

It took me a while to write this review because this negative experience still hurts me. My grandfather had to spend his last moments here and I wouldn't wish it on anyone like that. I was so grateful for the doctors and nursing staff at night, they did their best to make it as pleasant as possible for my grandfather. I am not at all happy about the "hands" of the day and in particular the rather large blonde woman with glasses. What a horrible, uninterested and ignorant person she was. I hope they have better staff these days!
In October 2022, my father ended up in the hospital with a serious bacterial infection. After about 2 weeks he was transferred to Recura for rehabilitation. Since my mother had been in Recura during the Corona period and some things had not gone well, I immediately talked to the nursing staff about this. That was a very pleasant conversation and we had constant good discussions about my father's treatment plan. The staff was very sweet and attentive to him and to us as a family. When it turned out that my father was unfortunately not going to make it, everything was done to give us valuable time together, with the highlight for us being the opportunity to eat with him in the restaurant again: he in his bed and we at the table. Every effort was also made to get him into the hospice of his choice, which was successful.
My mother-in-law, who is almost 88, spent more than 2 months in the Recura care hotel to recuperate after having surgery for a complicated fracture in her upper arm. Thanks to her beautiful room, the loving care of the nurses and the usually tasty food, she got through it. And luckily she went home again on June 21.
After more than 2 weeks in hospital, I spent more than 2 weeks at Recura to recuperate. I don't recognize myself in the previous reviews. I have only seen sweet and committed staff. Everything is taken care of, no two lunches are the same, variety in food. In between you also get all kinds of tasty things to strengthen yourself. Physio, I had Claudia, a nice girl, she really gives you confidence in yourself and your body again. Of course you would rather be at home, but I really enjoyed it here!
