I have been the home manager for Calvary Noosa since July 2021 and I have made the hard decision to move back to Melbourne to be closer to my family. This home has so much to offer, the staff are so dedicated and come to work with a passion to care for the residents and colleagues. Every department go so above and beyond to make every resident's day. I feel honored to have worked with such an amazing team and to have cared for residents who are so loving and so supportive of the team. Top staff, lovely environment, food excellent. Both parents were placed into care here 3 years ago. They are happy and contented, well looked after. We are able to travel part of the year and know they are so well cared for. The staff will ring us if someone is ill or fallen over, so that is reassuring. There are activities that keep the elderly amused, music and sing songs, even foot spas. We feel so lucky that they went to this lovely caring centre.
It's difficult to phone wards & have Staff answer. I know they're busy with Residents & the care my Mother receives is excellent. When I visit from Melbourne the Staff take time to tell me what's been happening but the phone is my only contact between visits. The kitchen & Cleaning Staff are lovely too. Mum is in the best facility.
My parents have lived at Japara Noosa for the past 3 years. I can not fault. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are kind, caring and accommodating. Amazing staff doing a very challenging job. Great food, plenty of activities and the surroundings are extremely pleasant. Management go above and beyond to address any issues that may come up in a helpful and prompt manner. Thankyou to all the Noosa staff for your exceptional care and support. Highly recommended. 10/10
Great staff with excellent communication. Both our parents ended up in the high care dementia ward and were treated really well. As a family we all felt they were very well cared for, the food was above average, and as others have stated, there were a decent range of activities.
