Very grateful for the care and compassion of the Estia Lockleys extended team over the 4 years mum has made Lockleys "home". We appreciate the consistent, long term staff. The bright smiles and welcome we receive always when visiting. The regular updates we get by phone to keep us informed of key care items. Their willingness to adapt to address quirky problems that arise (a natural part of aging). And frankly, just to be able to visit mum in such a bright, airy, modern facility - with a coffee lounge and gardens to take her outside for a bit of sun and fresh air is lovely. Thank you to all at Estia for their efforts to look after her. Truly appreciated.

Mum has been a resident of Estia Health Lockleys, SA, since March 2020 and has received excellent care across the years. Something that has impressed my brother and I is the number of staff across all disciplines – nursing, carers, lifestyle, catering and administrative – who have worked there for many years and clearly care deeply for their clients. The building and furnishings are maintained to an exceptional standard which has on occasions, had Mum thinking she's in an Intercontinental Hotel if we take her down to the cafe or out into a courtyard for a cuppa. :)
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Estia Health for the exceptional care provided to Nancy over the last four years. The compassion and dedication shown by the entire team have truly been remarkable, and we are so grateful for the attention and love Nancy received throughout her time there. A special mention must go to Gibin and Crisa, whose thoroughness and unwavering commitment to Nancy in her final months made a world of difference. Their kindness and constant support were a source of immense comfort to us all. They treated Nancy with such warmth, always going above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable and cared for. The staff at Estia Health truly made Nancy feel like family, and we will always be thankful for their extraordinary care. It is rare to find a facility where the staff treats their residents with such genuine love and respect. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you’ve done for Nancy and for our family.
Started working at Lockleys Estia as a trainee. From Day 1 completely disorganised. After 3 buddy shifts, I was expected to cover shifts as a carer, unsupervised & no check ins by management. Expected to complete notes on residents & use a lifter without manual handling certificate. Unfortunately due to lack of training, bullying from other staff & lack of support & solutions I left after expressing my concerns around lack of training to management. Sad for residents & people that want to genuinely get into industry.
What a welcoming, happy, organized aged care facility. It feels so homely, yet very modern, with friendly, respectful staff who cannot do enough for residents and their families. Both of my parents have moved there in the last week, initially for respite care. I would feel so relieved and excited for them to transition to Estia Health Lockleys for permanent care, based on the positive experience thus far. It’s a weight off my shoulders to see them so well cared for by the wonderful staff!
